Hello, I have a question, I need to use the camera to a video switcher, does it work well with the hdmi output? And how I can change in the menu so I can watch. Thank you and nice video!
Edward, that is a darn good question. There should be no differences, as all Canon R50s are the same. Unless you live in a different region than the US. I will reach out to my Canon rep now and see if she has an answer.
Great question, my friend. As of now, and this is straight from my Canon rep, the only compatible Canon Flash is the EL-5. Thanks for watching and taking the time to ask your question.
OK purple menu # 2 Preview AF what's it for you don't say? Let me say thsi Disable it, makes your lens focus all the time without pressing the shutter button half way. So this is making your lens work hard and draining your battery. You don't really notice it with a 18-45, 24-105. But put an 85mm F2 on it and it will drive you nuts as i found out, i strongly recommend you disable this function
Hey Mike, thanks for taking the time to watch and leave your comments. Both are appreciated. And yes, preview AF is a battery drain for sure and should be disabled on any camera.
@@sandraekhoff8937 I am sorry for the delay, Sandra. I have been traveling for the last few weeks. On page 2 of the purple menu, you will find an option that says "AF Preview." Turn it off/disable, and that should take care of it.
Thank you for nice informetion 💯💯❤❤

I figured it out, turn the PASM dial to M. I set the menu up from manual mode. If you are in program mode or uto+ mode, the menu will look different.
Thank you very much.
