First again!!! Whooo hoooo❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Those Christmas decorations were georgeous. I'm so glad you were able to show me the Gingerbread Houses. That big one with thousands of peppermints. I love gingerbread cookies with hot tea. I learned about tea drinking from my Mother. She had a old fashioned tea pot and a tea ball that held loose leaf tea. Once you added the boiling water, "It must steep for 4 minutes" my Mother would say. She made the best cookies. It was our own Mother /Daughter social time. Thank you for another wonderful video. This one sure brought back wonderful memories. ❤❤🎄🎄❤❤
Savannah is so beautiful!! The 18th century homes were absolutely stunning,I just literally gawked,when I saw them..lol.wow...no words.The gingerbread house was beautiful,and looked extremely yummy..haha...I was stunned by the hotel,such beautiful displays,and polar bears!!...Glad to see them.The gardens were so beautiful,with the lights and displays,even Santa showed up,all you are missing is the snow,you have to come here for that..hahaha. Thank you so much for this beautiful,and winter wonderland video. I really enjoyed it.

We camped over in Redhill at the KOA when we went and what a cool city. River street sweets 🍭 wow. We walked every square in town with a walking tour book. The guys singing the blues or river street was fun to watch. The historical society has a lock down on the town and keep it preserved. It really shows too 👍🏼
Savannah's historic district is incredible! I saw that new Marriott in another video, so I will have to check it out in person. Hope you got some delicious Leoplold's ice cream while you were there.
It really is beautiful! The Marriott blew us away, very cool design! And unlike anything else we've come across in their portfolio. Ah, we'll have to go back for some of that delicious ice cream. 😉
Thanks for the Christmas tour! We visited Savannah back in 2008, an all-paid weekend trip through my job at the time. We stayed at the Mansion at Forsyth Park, so tons of photos of the Fountain. We especially loved the Spanish Moss on the trees. Took the walk through the historic parks all the way to the downtown district. Paula Deen had her restaurant at the time. Didn't get to frequent too many places due to scheduled events and award ceremonies, but would love to go back, maybe even by RV! Thanks again! ☺

The gingerbread houses were impressive! When we were kids, my sisters and cousins used to build one on Thanksgiving. It was a lot of fun, but usually an engineering disaster. 😂

Never linked it to the fairy tale in the sense that it was the influencer of that time. I guess it hard to have its origins from somewhere. Not parks...they are called squares... there 22 of them....a little more research on savannah..less on gingerbreads...this is called...Christmas in the south.

We covered the gingerbread house history because the local "trail" IS one of the bigger Christmas events in Savannah that is open this year during COVID-19. Our Sunday Vlogs DO frequently bring attention to the history and charm of an area we visit, but as you said, these special episodes are focused on Christmas events in various locations throughout the south. We hope to return to Savannah in the future to explore more in the Hostess City! -Howard
