I’m a Vet Tech at an ER. If a Vet says your male cats have kidney issues, get them on a Prescription Cat food. It’s expensive, but it will save you money and years down the road. Had a orange male tabby that started having urinary issues. One of the 1st thing the vet asked was if I'd gotten him from Petco/PetsMart. (He was, someone had got him for me as a gift.) For anyone reading this with cats who have been told they have high calcium or crystals in urine: we totally stopped giving our cats dry food except sometimes we use them as treats. Even urinary care dry food is no good for cats with crystals in the urine. We were told that even the cheapest shittiest wet food was better under all circumstances than even the best most expensive dry food. We also were told to try using distilled water mixed with their wet food to get them extra water to dissolve the excess minerals. As always consult your vet but this has worked wonderfully for our little guys as both a mitigation and prevention method
Also for you or anyone else if you can still get the surgery, get it. It can prevent it from happening again and change his kitty diet. This is fairly common in male cats sadly. Happened to two of mine. One made it one didnt. And avoid dry food.
I'm so glad Artemy is ok. I hope he gets better and lives a loooooong life with you. You obviously love him very much and him you. I had something similar happen in the last two years. My first dog, who i say i transitioned for because she preferred women, died of blood cell cancer a month after her hind legs ''stopped'' working one December morning. Well my new dog, at the same date, started having trouble standing and lifting herself with her hind legs. Turns out she sprained a muscle and a ligament vomiting that morning. Some anti-inflammatory and she is all better now. Life is short and it is fragile. Cherish all the little moments you have with your pets, even the bad ones. You only get to feel those emotions once. Happy Holidays to the whole team. And yay for Christmas miracles. 😊❤
Artemy gave the bestest Xmas present ever! Cat pee 😅 Seriously though I hope everything continues to trend well. Give the baby hugs from us. ❤ Merry Christmas 🎁🎄

It wasn't you. It was the spirit of Christmas! And a happy new year!
It's NEVER tmi to talk about your cat and your cat's health 😂
Wishing all the best for Artemy, his chunky orangey appearances on your streams always make me smile. ❤
I definitely think being around you helped his comfort level
For anyone reading this with cats who have been told they have high calcium or crystals in urine: we totally stopped giving our cats dry food except sometimes we use them as treats.
Most happy ending segment ever
Also for you or anyone else if you can still get the surgery, get it. It can prevent it from happening again and change his kitty diet. This is fairly common in male cats sadly. Happened to two of mine. One made it one didnt. And avoid dry food.
I've had some health scares with my cats as well. It's awful. So glad your bab is doing better ❤
he felt so safe in your lap he went pee
Artemy gave the bestest Xmas present ever! Cat pee 😅 Seriously though I hope everything continues to trend well. Give the baby hugs from us. ❤ Merry Christmas 🎁🎄
That's one tough ass cat
Keep getting better Artemy!! 😽😽
I recently lost my cat to this same scenario but it didn’t end well :(
I’m wishing the best for Artemis 💚🙏🏼
We love Artemy ❤
