ゲーム自体はやった事もないし存在自体知らなかったけど、メンタル的に沈んでる時にたまたまこの曲を知って、歌詞の深さにめちゃくちゃ考えさせられた…。願いとか愛とか見えないものを追い続けることこそが本当の強さ、踏み込めない自信のなさを優しさでごまかしてた自分自身、未来を怖がって夢を持つ事を諦めてそれで上手く生きれてる気になってた自分自身、そういうのに気づくことが出来た。
この曲に出会わなかったら、今こうして新しい夢に向かって努力したり勉強したりする自分にはなれなかった。歪んだ生き方を変えれなかった。

2020 almost end, and here I am, crying over a 13 years old game. xD (It was released in 2007 in Japan)
I've known Trails for a very long time. My very first Falcom-developed game, which was Ys: The Oath in Felghana, made me went head over heels for Falcom and that was 8 to 9 years ago, I think. I got introduced to other Ys games and Trails because of that.... But I never got the opportunity to actually play Trails until now--2020.
I remember the good old' days where I watched countless hours of TH-cam videos about Trails. Even back then, it was old videos posted years ago. Almost all of them were in Japanese, and I still watch it until the end even though I didn't understand a single word.
But now! I'm really happy to see that even old videos like this one, still got new comments from only months ago. There are also increasing numbers of game TH-camrs who made this amazing series got the recognition it deserves by reviewing them or making playthrough videos (it didn't exist 8 years ago! LOL). This game age like a fine wine--even though it's getting old, but it still gains many new players who then love it and become addicted. As a long-time fan, I couldn't be happier. I'm excited to see where this incredible game will take us in the future, and to see the fandom expand even more.
I dearly wished the magic of Trails will reach many more people in the future.

i got introduced to Falcom from Ys Oath in Felghana on PSP and its still dare to mmy heart until now
Couldn't agree more I remember being introduced to Cold Steel when it was first realized on ps4 and i've just fallen in love with the series ever since. The music, immersive storyline, worldbuilding and the amount of lore in these games is just incredible. It easily became my favourite jrpg series in the longest while, can't wait to play CS4 once I finish Zero and Ao and replayed CS 1-3
I like how in Cold Steel 1 when Towa is showing Rean the video of her concert you can hear what I assume is Towa's JP voice actress singing a bit of this song.

I originally started playing Trails in the Sky after being introduced to it in 2019, and played the prologue of FC. At the time, I don’t know what it was, but something didn’t quite click, and I decided to hold off till later. Well, later came much later than anticipated, and I didn’t get back to the game till this year in May. So one day, I decided “Ok, time to sit down, focus, and play this entire game.” I went from the beginning and got back to chapter one, refreshing myself on what happened. Something different happened this time while I was playing. I don’t know if it was because of all the games I played between dropping it and picking it back up, but I had a whole different view on what had happened in the story so far. So I kept going, and I kept going, and kept going, until I finished the first game. It blew me away by the end, and I jumped into SC immediately. After that game, I can certainly say this is one of my favorite game series and probably one of the best stories I’ve ever experienced

you really should, ive only played Cold steel 1 and I would say Sky 1 is as good or better
playing all previous games is basically a requirement for cold steel 4 since all plot points converge in that game so you really should or you wouldn't understand the story of cold steel 4 i mean playing 3 without previous game knowledge is pushing it but guess it can still be done

I honestly love The 3D version of Estelle, LLoyd and the others that appeared in Cold Steel IV, and I enjoy the 3D graphics overall, but I still feel like i'm unbreakingly attached to the older Sky and Zero/Ao games. Despite the different graphic style and everything they still feel unique in their own way.
There's a certain charm to the semi-chibi sprite style, yeah.
I think I like the Zero/Ao artstyle the most. That being said, I liked the 3D stuff as well and I'm especially excited for the new graphics in Kuro.
the 90's style character portraits add a lot to their personalities too, especially Estelle

Depends on how many episodes they'd be willing to give it honestly. There's SO much great story to cover and if they aren't prepared to do it justice, then I'd honestly prefer they didn't do it at all. Otherwise we'd just get another Tales of Zestiria the X....Please no.

I'm currently streaming sky first chapter to some of my friends that don't know at all the series and, even if some of them like to destroy character (like making Cassius a kidnapper of children or transforming Olivier beautifull voice into something coming directly from hell when singing Amber Amour), I'm fucking hype to make them discover what a wonderfull character Kevin is and how fuck up the games can be like with Renne's past, for now all they know that was mest up was the thing Joshua said to Mayor Dalmore (cutting into 1000 pieces his corpse if he had hurt Estelle). I'm so ready for them to react to sky the third, or even just react to Joshua's past and Weissman.

I'll be honest: I actually liked this game the most out of all the games in the Sky trilogy.

Yeah, same, SC has a better and more solid story imo, but the side story of Kevin and Ries is very welcome, since we never got a lot to know about Kevin in SC. Plus I love all the extra story content through the doors. That on top of the more refined gameplay and added characters makes this one my favourite out of the three too. :D
Same, I loved the focus on dungeon exploration and side stories. The amount of feels I felt from all the doors and also from Kevin's story as he learns how to move on is beautiful. And the music, omg Sky FC and SC had some good songs but the 3rd has so many!

There are more games in the series. Trials of Zero and Azure are coming out in 2022, and the Cold Steel series has all of the characters meet up again in the 4th game.

The majority seems to like Crossbell and hate Erebonia though.
Cold Steel is Nothing Happenened: The Game and filled with modern LN cliche.

Legend of heroes destroy tales
Very different games. I enjoyed a few tales games but in my mind, TLoH/Kiseki series will be a one class above.
I recommend Tales of Xillia and Tales of Xillia 2, you'll get attached to the characters just like Trails in the Sky with a good story

+Shadow Surion Raikaze This melody was probably conceived as the image song for 3rd before the rest of the soundtrack was finalized, so it's more accurate to say Dreamy and Boisterous Holy Land is the final boss version of this.
