This song forever stuck in my mind because my game crashed right after i defeated it and i need to rebattle the final boss again on fc on nightmare mode

man. that's awful. as much as I love FC, I really hate the final boss fight. I just can't stand continuous fight like that. may that will never happen ever again to you, no one deserves that.

goddamn I played FC on hard mode for my first time and it was a nightmare to finish, and the dread you feel when the final boss just keeps going and going, more and more stages and fake outs.

the best rpg i ever played
I don't need good graphics; I want solid gameplay with strong and extremely likable characters, extreme box jokes, great timeless story with amazing twists and turns, and amazing soundtracks; this game had them all, but sadly, these features are underappreciated in modern industries because it actually takes efforts to pull it off. Fallout 4 might have 3 times more playtime, I would gladly play this game 3 times rather than playing fallout 4 again.
lol all those reveals bunched together in SC though. It's like FC's the question arc and SC's the answer arc in the Higurashi franchise.
damiester1 it's always been like this though, even cold steel is the same. Cold Steel 1 is extremely slow paced and a tad bit annoying imo, but the second chapter is indeed very good.
Nothing compared to Trails in the Sky, though.

If everyone listen this song remind them of the story, this song remind me how brutal the fight against Loewe, even though I played it on normal difficulty. Damn...
he even slaps in easy mode, my entire team got asswhooped because he got the first move and used his s-craft. my whole team died after 30 minutes.
I think I beat him 3rd try on Normal. I had much more trouble on his fight in FC, but that could just be because you couldn't choose your party in FC.

Cassius alone is already a monster vs 4 chars and can outright decimate your whole team if he's lucky to get turns in a row. I can't even imagine winning against those 3 legends with only 3 chars. But would happy to see though. 😂😂😂
Estelle, Lloyd, and Rean would get smashed. They would need Kevin, Joshua, C, and Van. Besides, those 7 together feels like a complete protagonist group.

see, as hype as that would be, it's almost certainly not happening. Silver Will is kinda isolated to being a song for Trails in the Sky, in a similar way that Atrocious Raid and The Decisive Collision are Trails of Cold Steel songs. There's also the fact that the torch feels like it's already been passed, especially with Cold Steel IV. And, all three protagonists have had their moments in the spotlight. Yeah, Lloyd and Estelle played very important roles in Cold Steel IV, but the focus was not on them. It was on Rean, where it belonged, because that was his story.
Besides, we all know the series is going to end with the revelation that the seven Sept-Terrions are all just literal fragments of Aidios, and they're going to be fused together to bring the Goddess back into existence, so She can bestow knowledge of The Beyond to humanity without it completely destroying their minds. We all know that's how this is going to end

This is extended PC version opening so I wouldn't call it bonus track, but one of the best openings that's for sure, my favorite 👍

I wonder if the heroes ever obtain the Septerrion of Time, if they could go back and save the Silver Swordsman from his fate...how epic would that be, if he was able to stand with you, in the final battle against Ouroboros and their Grandmaster !
That would certainly be amazing in many ways! Especially because he himself was one of, if not the most powerful enforcer. I urge you very much to play the 3rd if you have not yet. In a strange and spiritual way, it answers whether that can actually happen or not. :)
Id say McBurn probably holds that title, all things considered, Louwe, no matter how powerful he was, never quite reached that level.
Loewe is just seen as 'potentially' the strongest up and coming person in the Ouroborus
However up till the moment he died , his level was just on par with Duvalie at best
I don't know where you got this information but is completely incorrect. Also, you are understimating Duvalie's level (she's just a bit of a goofball, but she's the strongest warrior of Arianrhod's hand-picked warriors which is no small feat). That said Duvalie confirmed that Loewe defeated her 99 times out of a hundred spar matches and his skill was so great Mcburn wanted to have a serious match against him (and we are talking of the guy who was confident enough to fight Valimar on his own). The side materials about Loewe also confirmed he took the same "vow of power" that Arianrhod took, so while weaker than her he was walking the path to become superhuman like her. His last test was to "sever his emotional attachments" which is why he took the mission to oversee the Gospel Plan, so that he could concisely reject his last attachment, his affection for Joshua.
@@LeonGun8 I don't know about that last part, doesn't seem like something the Grandmaster would ask of him. All the rest is correct though, McBurn is the strongest but even McBurn himself said that he had a lot of "fun" with Loewe who could give him a run for his mira.
As for the Sept Terrion of Time and Loewe getting back, it's something I think everyone wanted/wishes to see. Loewe was also a big influence on Renne. Think KeA made something along those lines happen when she had the Mirage's Power (amplified with time/space effects at the time), but it would be a great spoiler so we all know what I mean with "it's totally possible".

Just started Sky SC yesterday, and I gotta say, while I like the anime version better, as I think it does a better job of retaining the feel of the Silver Will boss theme, this is still very good, and fits the tone of the opening way better than the anime version
Also, Joshua deserves at least one punch in the face for what he did at the end of the first game. Clearly things work out between him and Estelle in the end (cause, you know, they're a thing in Cold Steel IV), but he completely deserves to punched in the face for ending of Sky FC
I wouldn't blame Joshua for wanting to hunt down Weissmann for what he did, the guy literally took advantage of his illness to mind control him into blowing innocent people up.. That's not something you just get over with, and he made it very clear to Cassius that he was going to "play house with them", but he was free to leave whenever he sees fit, i know we all feel bad for Estelle, but let's not forget who is the victim in this situation (Joshua).
Also, he was right to not wanting to endanger Estelle in his revenge plot, since she clearly wasn't ready, even with the training she did in the SC prologue, she lucked out sometimes and would be dead if Joshua didn't save her at the ship, oh well, at least it worked out at the end.
I spent the entirety of SC waiting for Estelle to slap him in the face. She did not, though the beach scene was so perfect I forgave it.
Then later on Cassius goes and delivers the slap the little rascal deserved.

2 years ago also became collab for 7k Global along with Ys7 even though only costumes. Even so, why the hell Estelle isn't one of the collab?! Even Joshua, Rene, Loewe get to become collab there. 😭
I know that there is no female Bo Staff wielder in 7k, yet there is male one. If Estelle is not possible then it should be Cassius instead.
...Okay, so "Silver Will" obviously refers to Loewe, but what about "Golden Wings"? Who or what does that refer to?

Golden wings is a reference to the final boss in SC and silver will to the final boss in the 3rd (that one even states that this is his surname)

will be a while before we get that game though:/ heard its the game with the most text so its going to take some time to get an english translation of it. im still hoping that the combat wont be as broken as it was in cs1 and 2

There's no Japanese PC title and you REALLY don't want a repeat of Y's VIII fiasco. They are better of concentrating on just localizing the game that already exists rather than creating a port.

I really want to replay SC again, but I feel like I'd need to replay FC before it and I don't have 200 hours to re-experience 2 games since I already know the plot and it wouldn't hit as hard.

Is it just the alcohol speaking, or is the singer slightly out of tune with respect to the backing track? Like a quarter tone or less, but still noticeable.
