I'm really going to miss your cruising videos, but I look forward to seeing what you post in the future. If you decide to keep your channel, that is. I know it has to be a lot of work, keeping it up. The little bell will stay clicked, just in case something pops up! 😀
Funnily enough we went up the Wendover Arm yesterday and moored before Bridge 2.... very busy at the end!! Also saw our old boat coming out of Bates Drydock!!! Xx
Nifty bit of driving at the beginning JL, looking forward to seeing whatever you decide to do next, thank you for sharing your cruising life with us, it has been a lot of fun, take care of yourself 🚢🚢🚢
A lovely cruise Johny, it is pretty narrow down that arm and a bit light on water. Is the water problem really a dredging problem or just a lack of water, there's definitely a lot of plant growth. A nice quite spot at the arms end. Johny, when there's other boaters moored up together, do you sort of meet and greet, have a few drinks and tell stories of the high seas. Anyway, put your feet up, have a tinny or two and wonder whats up for tea. B&Q must send it's quality products over here, mine were the same, these outfits spend more money on making a product fail, instead of making it last. Thanks mate, take care.
Hey Phillip. Well, I know the water level was lower than it should be, plus it seems not to be a very deep canal anyway, plus of course quite overgrown, so a bit of everything really. I'm not sure what the profile of the canal bed is either - some are flatter than others, but it looked as though this one has quite a curved profile so prone to being shallow at the edges. I think I did speak with one of the other boats but that was about it! Sadly, my really good loppers went in the canal never to be seen again, back on the K&A!
I guess I could have googled it - but it felt more appropriate (and convenient) to just leave the question hanging - didn't know David had been down there.
Hi Johnny, lovely video. I’m going to miss visiting with you every week but looking forward to surprise visits 😊. Just curious will the new owners CC or just take her out on the weekends? Have a great week.
The new owners are live aboards and are going to be cruising extensively - as well as doing a few upgrades to the boat, so it will live on as it should!
Aah, that's me properly relaxed, thank you.
Hi Gary, you are very welcome.

Hi Stuart. Thankfully winter behind us now... for a while at least!
A very nice cruise with some pleasant music to boot. Not many boats moving..Cheers Mr London.
Hi Will - I was glad not to meet anyone coming the other way - as it was shallow and a bit overgrown. Good timing for me.
Enjoyed the vlog......going to miss them when you have caught up. Hope your boat went to some good new owners......Take care Johnny .....
Hi Chris, yes I was pleased with the new owners, think they can make a go of it and maybe even improve a few things!
will miss your boat good luck for the future .
Hi Rosalind. Me too, but I'm not regretting selling it (yet!). It was time for me to move on.

I think I just beat the rush! I'd love to go all the way to Wendover when it's finished.
Thank you

Hey Chris, thanks. Well, it's all up in the air at the moment so I will have to see what transpires.

Hi Tony and thanks. I've a few ideas in the pipeline so we will have to see.
The Industrial zone is a flour mill.
It is indeed. I looked it up when David from Cruising the cut went past, and asked the same question.
I guess I could have googled it - but it felt more appropriate (and convenient) to just leave the question hanging - didn't know David had been down there.
@@ProjectNarrowboat made me feel knowledgeable 😉
Another great watch will miss the Cruising videos, look forward to a new Vidoes whatever you decide to do Johnny

🥳
is there a depth finder in the bow of the boat?
Hi Carole. No, we don't have anything like that. One just has to use eyes, intuition and also keep an ear out for the scraping of the bottom!
What are you going todonext I will miss you
Hi Brian. I'm not really sure. Still getting myself straight so we will have to see.
If this is it , please can you do another Christmas dinner cooking vlog,
Hi Reg, a few more vids to come yet. I won't make any promises as I'm not sure what I'll be doing but I may well keep going in some form or other.
