Can you believe that it DIDN'T break? I'm still on those original stock trailing arms too. I've had the RPM upgrade ones for over a year and have not needed them yet. Crazy. Some hard hits and full speed rollovers in this one.

Frank Sluga I’ve had to replace a blown servo, a front Center driveshaft, an a-arm from a friend crashing into a pole, and a rear Center driveshaft the drive pin sheared. I used the stock included spare.
I say it’s all stock only because I realy don’t believe in filling it wit aluminum parts, but I hit a pole on full throttle on 6s as well and bent both driveshafts and cracked the rear ended axle in half and broke the trailing arm in half , after that I usually run 3s lol
Ouch! It’s pretty tough truck but those poles will get ya!

Thanks I agree! I usually run it 4S but wanted to do full power this time. It made it ridiculous IMO. I like the UDR most on 4S.
@@netcruzer i've never ran mine on 4s, only 6s so I wouldn't know the difference, I like maximum POWER!!! lol

I wasn’t satisfied but I showed all the fails. I didn’t get a great clean one if I used less throttle I could. 4S easier to control on UDR for sure. More drifty less rollovers.

This thing is a blast to drive from the drivers seat with FPV, never been brave enough to do full throttle when driving in FPV as it seems to much faster, on the plus side this meant less flips
Sick👍🏽 I run mine on 4s all the time bashing around never had a single issue put in 6s at the track only dominate 🔥🔥🔥
The first two weeks I ran mine I ran it on 6s and just kept breaking it , my opinion it’s bett on 3s and it’s still a beast

Great Bash John! UDR in typical Traxxas fashion seems to be a beast! Sooo... inquiring minds wanna know... how do you think it would do on the track? Obviously not on 6S but do you think with appropriate power it would make the foundation for a good racer? Keep em coming man!!!

Hi i like your channel! Hows the reliability of the UDR? Im about to get one but people keep saying they broke this and they broke that. Hows the maintenance and durability of it is it worth it? Thanks
Durability is decent, it’s not too fragile. But maintenance is not easy it’s difficult to access the front end drivetrain components.
Lol udr ‘s. A beast , 6s is crazzy , I started running mine on 3s , still a blast 🤠What is that low voltage trick you were about to do ? 🤙I haven’t done the update and don’t think I will 🤙
You can just press the power button on the VXL6S to reset it when it goes Low voltage. But not anymore after updates.
Dose that just shut dow lv , because I know my cells are at 290 when it hits lv.
Frank Sluga my cars ususally go LV on full throttle full load as soon as one drops to 3.2 or 3.4 it kicks in. Then when I check them they are at 3.8

It’s the same. Besides a minor weight difference it can’t be felt.

I’ve been thru 4 drive pinion gears on 6s the thing is a beast
