Consider this a subtitle to whatever the hack I just said.
I've made close to 1,000 attempts at defeating Boss 180 with a 5-buff team, and I want to give credit to Karla Raloveer [W63] for the incredible team composition. However, this fight requires a significant amount of luck, and here’s why: Arachnee's jump targets the lowest health enemy, which in our case is one of the three mushrooms spawned by the first mushy. The problem? It’s completely random which mushroom Arachnee will jump on, and that randomness is a huge issue.For the strategy to work, Arachnee needs to jump on the mushroom positioned just behind Morigen's shoulder. If she doesn't, the second mushy won't get stunned, allowing it to spawn more mushrooms, which will lead to a wipe-Arachnee, Lars, or the whole team could go down. Only one specific sequence of events gives us a fighting chance, and that sequence is incredibly rare. In about 1 in every 40-100 matches, the mushroom will spawn in the right spot, giving our team a shot at success.But it’s not impossible! There are dozens of players who have already defeated Boss 180 using this team with only 5 buffs, so with patience and persistence, it can be done. For the rest of us, though, it might take anywhere from 5 minutes to several days of attempts to pull off the win.The alternative is adding more buffs-55 more buffs, to be exact. But for most free-to-play players, that's not feasible. While some players have already cleared Boss 190 and 200 with ease, the majority of us will need to wait and see how things play out.My recommendation? Patience is key.
