Nokia Asha 210 is clearly targeting heavy texters and IM junkies with its physical portrait QWERTY, WiFi and WhatsApp integration deep in the contact book. It also has the Nokia Slam feature for sharing images and videos via Bluetooth without having to pair first. Nokia is just being Original and their Nokia Phones is for People who cant Buy expensive phones and does not need expensive phones, or people who just wants to be SImple. So dont curse them. :)

Ive been a nokia user before samsung came.

The design is actually cute, and very eye catching, but it terms of the user interface, it seems that it has the same UI as Nokia Asha 302, maybe faster, but the same. But even so, the design is amazing!
I wish they'd release an updated version with kaios, I'd buy it.
I'm all for it. I haven't seen any physical qwerty phones aside from refurbished Nokias.

I have one from back in the days when they first came out, so its ten years old and still sturdy, never had any problems with it, until now: I accidentally poured water on it and now the menu button seems to be done with it...

While I was googling to see how old it actually was, I was pleasantly surprised to see it's still in production 🎉

Does the phone feature a notification light feature at all? I have read a few comments online stating that the keyboard 'blinks' or glows regarding any missed calls/messages. However on reading the online manual, this is not mentioned at all. Thanks.

A phone from simpler times when we didn't had to carry huge glass slabs and had time to communicate with our loved ones.
You have to go to the music player and use the up-down keys on the directional pad to adjust the volume. Otherwise, for the phone volume, assign one shortcut on the home screen to the 'volume' and change it from there.

One Of the Best And Favourit Phone
What do you guys feel about the keys on this device? I tried it out at the Nokia showroom and the keys were quite hard at times but I was flying while typing comfortably at other times. It was a pretty mixed experience. Although the message composer was a bit slow (it sometimes didn't register the key presses at the same time as I was typing), it felt okay. It didn't miss out on any of the letters. I'm still thinking which one to purchase, the asha 201 or the 210. Any ideas?

It's actually a really good phone. I've had a blackberry and currently this. To be honest, if you want better quality and more apps etc. Go for the blackberry. But if your like me and only use social networks and texting, go for the asha and save yourself a good 100$

@HazeMachtBlau...its programmable. Asha 210's in India have a WhatsApp button, EMEA have Facebook button and others have a Twitter button. But its really programmable, even to open other non-social media apps like your music player :)

Mic. / Recording is pretty badic with not much to expect.
Vid/rec. Timer depends on space in SD Card, and as long as I remember, it had 23:00hrs max time

For those dissing this phone because it's not on par with other smartphones, I hope you're aware of the Nokia Lumia series. The Asha series is targetting heavy texters who like using the qwerty interface much like the Blackberry Curve models.
I like it! It's no smart phone but it will communicate and get the phone functions done with accuracy and long battery life.
With this nokia i have to use a micro-sim or a normal sim?

Can u get it in the US and for metro PCS?
The dual sim version comes with the facebook key while the single sim version comes with the whatsapp key. I live in India and there is no sign of the phone with a whatsapp key.
..while watching this review, I feel like I want to swap my android phone over this one. Haha! I love the color and the simplicity of the functions. But, I know I cant bec of my apps where I am connected to my friends. Nonetheless, this is a perfect gift for my mum! Hope she'll like it.
This phone came out in 2013 i got this phone in 2014 and it is amazing . I mean like this little phone has so much about it. Its 2018 rn I even dropped the phone in the toilet in 2017 and its still working i didn't have toput it in rice or anything i just put it to stand up and the water drained up. THIS PHONE IS A FREAKING KEEPER. Im sure its not going to fail me anytime soon.

If you want Wi-Fi, go for 210. I have the 210 for about 2 months now and I'm loving it. But I've seen a couple of pictures of 201 and it kinda looks nicer than 210. That's just my opinion.
The 201 came out like a year ago but it has everything that the 210 has, except Wi-Fi.

This is actually a decent phone for teens that really want to txt. Some teens just don't want the really fancy phones. Also the keyboard on touch screen phones can get annoying sometimes. So...yea it's not a really fancy phone, but it's still decent

I've got a Lumia 920 and I'm actually considering buying this as a secondary phone just for fun, it looks really good for its price. Be honest kids, if you get a cheap android phone your experience will just be really lame so think practical. I know this because I experience this first hand everyday whenever my friends show their low end androids that lag and are still more expensive that this. Even the 501 is smoother than those lagdroids
