I enjoy watching these vintage garden tractors with factory hydraulic plows and wish that the manufacturers these days would take in consideration of what options people want to have on modern day ones, if not hydraulic they could offer a 4 way optional 12 volt linear actuator kit ready to adapt and install, other than purchasing a Johnny plow. Last year I converted my one Craftsman/Husqvarna tractor over to an inexpensive Harbor Freight 12v winch lift which I should really enjoy using for the first time this year since I had rotator cuff surgery to my manual blade lift arm side a few months ago.😊
I agree with you on that. Unfortunately this stopped running and has valve problems that I have to work on. I will try and get it running again. Thanks for watching and the comment.

It has 318 tins on it ? If it has the hydraulic ram for steering its probably a 318 with a 316 hood sticker?? I have two 317 's

My Craftsman tractor has the Kohler 7000 series 22 horsepower 725cc V Twin engine excellent engine..

Starting an engine full throttle is the worst possible thing you could do to it.

That's the only way the choke will work on the older John deeres
@@sammybeddingfield1014 on the newer ones you mean cause the older ones have a separate choke and throttle...
@@themaniacmower my 79 111 has the choke with the throttle and so does the 316 I'm getting
@@themaniacmower might not be the same with early 70s and older but after that they are the same as the throttle
