Love it...thanks for posting!! I used your video to replace my blower motor and capacitor...saved our landlord $500 and he's thrilled. We were blown off by a tech at 4:45 on a Friday afternoon, so I found a supplier Saturday morning and did it myself. Thank you!
Dude. Can you please email me a Pic of where your transformer wires and board wires are all connected as a reference to me finishing up the wiring on mine?
I would like to know how do I select the right motor. I have a Trane 2001 air handler which I changed the capacitor once in 2007. This year 2018, the fan stopped working so I changed the capacitor and the fan came on. After the first cycle, the motor went on fire. I was right there and turn the main circuit off. I pull the cage out and the motor. The model no is ge5kcp39lgr309as. RPM=1080, hp=1/3, v=200-320, FLA=2.2. So 1/3hp =248watt. so if 1hp=746watt, then 746xo.333=248watts. then 248/220= 1.1amp. which is not right. It means the motor was running on 1 leg and it was 248/110volt=2.2amp. The FLA on the motor, on the paper, on the cover of the handler and everywhere else is 2.2 FLA. It mean the motor doesn't run on 220 volt but 110volt. I blew the motor as I attached both hot and common, to the motor. This motor had only 2 capacitor wire and ground. There is a port for the 3 speed. Even if I got 110volt motor it would work. My question is why are these labeled wrong. I start looking all the motors on grainger, etc website and I realize the Horse power or the FLA are wrong. Is this a trade secret that they are printed wrong even in the after market motors? As I only need the motor to fit in my squirrel cage as well run at correct RPM to provide air to each rooms? Can you help me or verify what I am saying is correct. I did check everything else and everything else works fine. So my contactors, relay, etc are all good. It seems to be a problem they are printing these specs wrong on these motors? The HP can not use more amps than what it should be. Why are motors, with 220 volt, 1/3 hp are label FLA =5.5 amp, its just not possible. I realize I blew the motor only because I attached both legs. Even though my motor is label 220, it runs on 110 volt. thank you in advance.
John worked on a FK4C carrier air handler last week. From what I could see it had a variable speed motor. Where is the capacitor for this unit located? It shows one on diagram but can't find it anywhere? Is it built in somehow?
I watched the whole video twice and you never showed how you replaced the actual motor. you just said and here you see our new motor and capacitor in there. why didn't you show how to actually replace it? SMH
another great vid!!!!!!! just started my schooling 4 months ago!!! really appreciate the time you take to make your videos!!!

I think Norman Bates would have been very cozy in that attic. LOL.
I wonder if 5 minutes seems long if you're in the electric chair? Enjoy your video's Why would someone want deer feet hanging in they're attic?
"Feets...don't fails me now" ...Old timers would know what i'm talkin' about. Step n fetch it
Very annoying the camera jerking
Are you in Israhell? How do you get business anywhere else if you are not?
Timer delays are a good time for a """Power Nap """ lol
I love the feet! What video program do you use? I want to start posting more videos
Hey John. I think he into voodoo jajajaja
Hi John,
It is a nice video.
Where can I find the Carrier Blower Motor for FB4ANF060 carrier air handler? Thank you.
Maybe superstition or midnight snack
Excellent video - can you help me locate a blower fan motor for Carrier 349FAZ042075 (older unit)
Terrible camera work..
Thanks bro
