Like so many other Parrot Rescues, THEY HAD TO BUILD AN ADDITION THIS YEAR to accommodate their ever increasing population of unwanted Parrots and DESPERATELY need FUNDS TO COVER THEIR EXPENSES!
To find out WHY so many Parrots (especially Cockatoos) wind up in Rescues, visit: www.mytoos.com/ AND

Great Info on why 'Adopt'. There's much need for well run 'Bird rescues' at this time.
Birds not meant to just 'sit pretty in a cage' as the couple reveal.
Please ck out another video also showings how wild or caged birds should look. Done as a result of horrible conditions leading to a Texas seizure, July 2010 at the 'Gracia birdmill'.
Irena Sculz's TH-cam video called "Be Our Voice".

I have never seen more cuddly birds! Sometimes I think that's the problem, people see calm cuddly birds and think they will always be that way, then they take the birds home, leave for work and come home to find the birds screaming and destroying anything within their vicinity. These birds are better off wild. If you feel you can take care of one of these birds, please adopt. Remember, they need time on their own with chew toys, they need cuddles and play time. And they live a LOOONNGG time.

ahh they are petting on the back! I think that is wrong, I don't do that with my birds, but that's just me.

They are males, and they love backscratches/massage all the way up to their heads. Females are aroused if stupidly massage their backs.

They need to find good homes for the birds, or they'll land back in the rescue in a few months. Most people don't realize how much effort and time taking care of a bird is, especially if the bird has been traumatized before. I can tell you that some birds come in absolutely terrible condition, and a lot of them need specialized care. I wouldn't let someone take a bird if I weren't absolutely certain they could manage that, and you shouldn't either.
