    I visited in 2017 for my 30th birthday. It was such a nice treat. So peaceful and serene. If your looking for time away from the busy City I highly recommend visiting Taboga 👌🏾

    It’s so great to see the island growing. I was there while stationed at Fort Clayton from 81-83. The village was a small fishing village with maybe 500 people. We use to camp out on Moro Island right there is the bay. Now I see the motel has chairs on the sandbar. I’d love to go back once more.

    Thank you for the wonderful tour through Taboga Island; it's so beautiful there. That snow cone was perfect to top off your tour.

    Thanks for the tour. I wanted to go a week ago but the ferry was always full on the return trip. I see I must book in advance. Looks like the island has more to offer than I thought. Thanks for sharing.

    Taboga....Known as "La Isla De Las Flores" (The Island of FLOWERS - Hibiscus in particular). Is the big CROSS up on the highest peak on the Island? I grew up in the former Canal Zone and we used to go out to Taboga about once a month, just to chill-out, get drunk, and enjoy nature. Such a beautiful place. The best restaurant back in the day was owned by a Chinese family named the Chu family - awesome fried meat wantons. Such great memories. I love your videos. Thanks for the memories.

      Taboga is such a beautiful place! We were so in awe being there that I didn’t really get the chance to chill like I wanted to…was amped up with emotions, lol. Great question about the Cross, I’m not sure but that’s something I’m interested in finding out myself. Thanks for tuning in! 🙂

    Thank you for sharing the beautiful Taboga Island with us. What's your favourite foods so far?

    • @TheRepatLife
      @TheRepatLife  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You’re welcome! Panama has such a mixture of foods that I really don’t have a favorite yet but I really do like their frozen desserts like sorbets and icees 😋.

      @@TheRepatLife Oh wow, I said the same thing about the icees as I watch the guy making them. LOL, this reminded me of the snowcone business I use to have in the states. We are still in winter in SA, so coffee or tea for me. Thank you so much again for sharing the beautiful Panama City. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

    Thanks for posting this tour. Question, did you get your guide from Taboga or the mainland?

    • @TheRepatLife
      @TheRepatLife  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi…you’re welcome! From the mainland. The tour guide works for the ferry company that transported us there: the “Taboga Express Fast Ferry”.
