Poor guy, played the opening absolutely safe to make sure he wouldnt end up in a gotham video, just for him to end up in a gotham video

the content is inevitable
Actually he did everything to end up in this video because initially he played this titled tuesday to get paired against somebody from top list in 1st round so that we could record a video. He sacrificed himself) th-cam.com/video/DtqQoR57-R0/w-d-xo.html
To be fair the video isn't really about the fact Gotham won but rather about our Robot overlords being so unfathomably good
I can guarantee that there is not a new chess move

Bro just saved us 23minutes 25 seconds of our lives. Thank you, now I can spend time on finishing this video
Respect(Start chain)
You need to turn that into a puzzle and test super GMs with it
That would be cool.
Unfindable tbh, unless they watched this recap
@@peterlungu385 If you tell a super GM there's a puzzle, they would exhaust all options and start looking for absurd tactics like this. Not sure if it's findable, but it would be worth it to test someone like Hikaru
@@peterlungu385Just cause you couldnt have found it, doesnt meant its not findablw
A top gm would def find this if they are told it’s a puzzle, even normal gms would
Imagine if levy never analyzed this game, he would’ve never realized he had the most legendary tactical sequence ever on his hands
Something I think about all the time is how many awesome moves like this never get discovered bc people don’t analyze their games (me)
If you can invent a move, I can too. Mine is called the EXTREME BLUNDER.
Oh, I always thought that it's my move, ok, I can have "Extreme Blunder 2" ;)
Extreme blunder =when someone gets checkmated while they’re up 18 points of material
Blunder extraordinaire
@@NoBatteriesLOLMay I present; the Fumble. When you go from mate in one to getting mated
"Extreme Blunder" It has a name and It's called "The Botez Gambit".
Move type: "Erudite"
Color: Purple
Requirements:
- Best move in the position
- All other possible moves have a much worse evaluation
- Engine analysis believes it to be terrible on low to medium depth
thats literally just the old brilliant move requirements lol

Me: Plays a natural move.
Stockfish: You missed a mate in 7 👹.
Literally, in one of my game i moved a queen and i took his knight and a pawn, but stockfish marked it as an imprecision and telled me i missed mate in 6 moves
@@Tactical_Cat_9 Hi, just a quick grammatical note in case you are interested in improving your English, "to tell" is an irregular verb meaning it's past tense doesn't form by appending -ed to the verb. Instead the past tense is "told" so in your sentence it would've been "and told me I missed"
Hope it helps :)
@@xelspeth K thanks i learned english from native speakers and i tought that ed applied to tell, i didnt ask any native speakers to teach me, i teached my self from what they said in a normal convo
@@Tactical_Cat_9there's another mistake of the same type in your second comment. You used the word, 'teached', which is incorrect. The past tense of teach is tought, not teached. So your sentence should be,"I tought my self." Should help.
@@OmChakraborty69420 tought is just past of think idk if past tense or something like that, it should be taught i think not tought
that move was the last thing i expected
That move is actually crazy. Idk if it is even humanly possible to think about this move
We spent half the video thinking about it retard
I reckon it is findable in classical chess but probably not blitz
Right? Many people thought engines were gonna kill the "romance" in chess, but I think moves like these are truly jawdropping!
The more people study computer moves like this the more likely it becomes they find moves like this. A lot of the moves that were humanly impossible 10 years ago are getting played by loads of young GMs today.
This particular one might be an exception, but the idea to sacrifice lost material to offer a choice "capture now and close your file or I resurrect into safety" will be thought of going forward (if it isn't already).

Perfect example of why beating a computer at chess is essentially impossible
Whom are you accusing of cheating?
@@ejmazzi1499 I'm not accusing anyone of cheating I'm pointing out that the computer found this insane game winning move that's so abstract and hard to spot and as far as the computer was concerned it was a perfectly normal move. It's a move that 99% of humans would've never found because it initially seems so random that we wouldn't even consider it but since a computer is able to consider and play through every possible move on every turn it's able to find moves like this with no issue which is why it's so hard to beat.
I’ve never gotten an intentional brilliant move.
Same brother 😂

I guarantee you that even chess geniuses would have spend a LOT of time to find this on a classic game.
It's one of the best tactics I've seen

For real lol, I didn't know how to take that comment

A computer isn't good at designating poor/good/brilliant moves, it often gives the brilliant double exclamation to moves that are pretty obvious and a question mark to a move that in practicality versus a human is a really good move, the computer can't really tell what is hard or easy to see for a human, it's all just data to a computer.
Bro is yappin
my one problem with comp evaluation is the fact that giving up a piece is considered a blunder while blundering checkmate is a mistake
1: i think they give inactive players a couple more brilliants sometimes to keep them more active
2: some positions are sharper where its easier to blunder but i dont have a problem with that, just my opinion

After being hard-stuck 800 elo for over a year, and playing only 1 game every week or so, I finally decided to start grinding more and after only a week and a half of playing non-stop I am now rated 1356 in rapid. One of the most important lessons I learned from you is that chess is just as much about losing and learning from your mistakes as it is about winning (if not more so). Once I stopped caring about losing elo, I started climbing. Now granted, I had been improving over this past year fairly steadily, by playing in person games at the park and the Chess Forum, but I only start to see that elo gain after putting in the effort to climb (I never would have known I had improved so much if I had kept playing as little as I did). You don't just climb by playing 3 games, 5 games or even 10 games a day. You just have to keep playing. Thanks Levy!

Best feeling is not to get a brilliant, but to think you made a great move, go to analysis, computer doesn't bless it so you go "nuh-uh" and increase depth and watch the computer change its mind.
