Yeah, total SHIT this game is, everything was being reused since FH1 and they have much less customization than older games did. Good job making this pile of TURD while saying "Built from ground up", everybody can see from trailer that this game is totally lazy and uninspired. Even Crew Motorfest did much better job than this game, I can enjoy the game with lots of chaos during Grand races but still fun to play with others.

@GF-mf7ml I'd also put NFS Heat and Rivals because of the cop chase. Carbon is also pretty scary for the canyon race. Undercover also kinda scary because of the highway battle. The Run is scary because of the close-to-the-car POV and some races are really tight. Man, I just realized that the NFS series is racing/horror

They had enough time to prepare, hell, they didn't even need to prepare, listening during class would've kept them well educated for the test. I still haven't gotten it yet. The reason being the first time I saw the penalty system and some of it's bogus calls. Until I hear about a sure fix I'm gonna pass on this one.

The game registered him turning into him as well to avoid the grass is probably why. I've never done online racing bc of this crap, the only thing I've done is virus and tag bc it's fun to embarrass tf out of players on an open airfield chasing you and you just dip or do some unrealistic stuff in a stang while they're in an f1 car
my favourite detail is how the rear wing just disappears below 100mph regardless of what the situation is. cus irl, if i was racing a veyron, and coming up on heavy braking zone, i would sure love if my giant airbrake just disapeared at 100mph so for the rest of the 99mph i had to slow down, i had to rely entirely on the brakes. very realistic detail there /s
That's actually realistic to the actual vehicle, as aerodynamics are less effective at that speed compared to the large amount of physical grip from the tires and brakes, but I do agree, it took me multiple minutes of watching the video before I realized it was okay.

When braking from high speeds, the wings remains up until the car goes under a precise speed I guess maybe 80kph. Anyway, you should we (or re watch) the Bugatti Veyron cs Eurofighter video from Top Gear BBC. Seems like Grand Turismo developers know how it really works 😅

Finally uninstalled 10 days ago, life feels so much better now! Happy new numbers to you all.
Ivory Tower did amazing with the game though, even if i dont like they stepped away from initial theme of TC1 to go for something akin to what forza horizon is, motorfest is actually a really solid racing game that knows what it wants to do and does well. its not the best thing ever but it is not a mid game.
It's barely functional itself. The Car meet feature was broken for months. The livery editor doesn't work for a large majority. The co-op "crew" feature that the game is named after is broken. The Grand Races are the only form of PvP. Still no 60 fps on Series S, apparently. Even though there was in the beta. Many of the most limited edition vehicles can't be painted or customized, making them less unique in the end instead of more, since everyone will be that gets them has the same exact vehicle. The wheel selection is abysmal. They need real aftermarket brands with multicolor areas, and more paint types than just chrome. The map is too small. The game is too grindy with not enough ways to grind for each vehicle discipline and The Main Stage expecting way too much of people's time for monthly "rewards". The only fun things worth doing repeatedly are The Summit and Grand Races once the campaign is finished.

If they ever introduced an iRacing-style system for temporary bans for dirty driving, the game's servers would be practically deserted overnight. Of course, this would require integrity for them to cover the expenses and risk alienating the frustrated 12-year-olds who can't stand not winning, so I'm not holding out hope.

The regular Veyron 16.4 was about 15 seconds slower around the Nurburgring than the Carrera GT despite the Veyron having 987hp VS the Carrera's 610. Not to mention the Veyron SS has a slower Stig Lap time than cars half (or even less than half) as powerful, such as the Mclaren 12C, the Audi R8 V10 Plus, the Ariel Atom, the Maserati MC20, the Dodge Viper ACR, and BAC Mono. The fact that the Dodge Viper, a huge American sports car with lopsided, unbalanced weight distribution and severe understeer, can beat the much more powerful (500+ horsepower more) Veyron SS should paint a pretty good picture of how diabolical Bugattis handle at speed. Modern Bugattis handling is just embarrassingly poor. Koenigseggs are much much better.
Gran Turismo 7 beats this out of the water in every category!!! I’ve played racing games all my life. I have never experienced such joy with GT7. Those who haven’t I truly feel bad for you and you really don’t know what you’re missing.
I think some things about the forza graphics do make it look more realistic, bc gt7 has a very saturated color which makes it more of a arcade when its actually the REAL DRIVING SIMULATOR
I won’t lie. This is pretty tame. That guy isn’t intentionally ramming you off the road, he’s just a bad driver driving a good car, and his antics warrants a 4-5 sec penalty but no more. He’s just hyper aggro while not knowing how to overtake in a corner
This is why Live for Speed was the only racing game that was playable online normally. No garbage filters, scoring or reporting systems. If the server admin saw you driving like a moron, he simply banned you instantly. Instead of a couple underpaid interns reading reports, it was one admin per 16 people. You like crashing? There was a server for that too, off you go.

I love how there's always 1 person that rams you off the track, 1 person that uses the guard rail to steer, and that 1 person who both blocks you off, and uses you as a booster. But lemme not. This the racing game of the year yall best physics out here

@@rufescenteagle7299 The Veyron is a car known for having bad handling in real life. The regular Veyron 16.4 was about 15 seconds slower around the Nurburgring than the Carrera GT despite the Veyron having 987hp VS the Carrera's 610.
Not to mention the Veyron SS has a slower Stig Lap time than cars half (or even less than half) as powerful, such as the Mclaren 12C, the Audi R8 V10 Plus, the Ariel Atom, the Maserati MC20, the Dodge Viper ACR, and BAC Mono.
The fact that the Dodge Viper, a huge American sports car with lopsided, unbalanced weight distribution and severe understeer, can beat the much more powerful (500+ horsepower more) Veyron SS should paint a pretty good picture of how diabolical Bugattis handle at speed.
Modern Bugattis handling is just embarrassingly poor. Koenigseggs are much much better.
Gran Turismo 7 beats this out of the water in every category!!! I’ve played racing games all my life. I have never experienced such joy with GT7. Those who haven’t I truly feel bad for you and you really don’t know what you’re missing.

I think some things about the forza graphics do make it look more realistic, bc gt7 has a very saturated color which makes it more of a arcade when its actually the REAL DRIVING SIMULATOR

the motorsport 8 penalty system is like the NFL refs, will disregard all fouls on you but will give you a penalty for slightly bumping into someone
I won’t lie. This is pretty tame. That guy isn’t intentionally ramming you off the road, he’s just a bad driver driving a good car, and his antics warrants a 4-5 sec penalty but no more. He’s just hyper aggro while not knowing how to overtake in a corner

This is why Live for Speed was the only racing game that was playable online normally. No garbage filters, scoring or reporting systems. If the server admin saw you driving like a moron, he simply banned you instantly. Instead of a couple underpaid interns reading reports, it was one admin per 16 people. You like crashing? There was a server for that too, off you go.
