one thing i noticed from horizon and motorsport is that the skilled drivers arent always the ones who finish first, its the ones that understand how others drive in order to avoid impact while driving wheel to wheel.
I'd say that's a skill in its own right. When I think about it, I consider it as a top level skill similar to high level overtaking/defending with how you have to predict and manipulate your opponent.
Man, I gotta say. It's so satisfying and inspiring to watch real skillful drivers! One thing that stuck out to me on your channel is the fact that it doesn't matter what car you drive, what conditions you are racing in, or what type of drivers you are competing against. You still demonstrate the example of a humble, yet racing legend. Keep up the hard work! Keyboard is crazy too! Wait to tame that beast!

I was doing the career races and learned how OP this car was, in one of the races they had two vipers p1 & p2 and they freaking lapped me lol. And if I started 24th their was no way of me every catching up to them

Hey, u have any tip on leveling cars faster. I feel like it's gonna take so long. I just got this.
Unfortunately the best way is to afk farm in Le Mans and you have to press an input every 10 minutes or the game will pause.
What happened in the 5th lap of the second race? It switches from 4th to 6th and a penalty just pops up lol
Try practicing with ABS off, if you can get it down you can slow down faster and overall improve your driving and lap times
What percentages do you have your decelerate and acceleration set at if you don't mind me asking
Differential settings? sometimes I run 100/0 sometimes 50/10, its car dependent.

I've never played a Forza game, but how do Time Penalties work in this game? In Gran Turismo you have to let go of the throttle on straights to remove the penalty.
They get applied to your total race time at the end.
If you go off track and continue accelerating, it looks deliberate and hence gets a penalty
If you go off track and ease off the accelerator, then it looks accidental and generally speaking, it isn't penalised.
Probably quicker to say that it is similar to Gran Turismo

Im not a gamer,but being into motorsport these pop up on my feed from time to time and generally I ignored them. But I have watched a couple of these now and get the impression that most of the field can't actually drive for shit,the first three or four corners of every race seems to result in a big old mess for everyone,with the back runners using the frontrunners for brakes😂,is this as I suspect common in online racing or just peculiar to this title/game?

By the way, just thought I should mention, you should brake later and trail brake more if you are looking to up your racing. There should be little to no lifting unless it's a really, really sharp corner. You probably need more rear brake bias. Just thought I should let you know because it was VERY noticeable. It should look like Brake, lift (the time of lifting should be less than .200 ms every time for most corners), go. If it doesn't look like that then you are braking too early and you should brake later. Again, doesn't apply to sharper corners and double apexes depends. Even on sweepers this is what is should look like.
He plays on a keyboard so it might be difficult to do it, but I think the games usually assist in these things. In F1 2022 the game automatically trail brakes for you when playing on keyboard
Trailbraking requires progressively softer inputs which are not possible on keyboard. ISAD has a peculiar technique and that's half the appeal of the channel. It's like you're leaving advice for a veteran knuckleballer on how to pitch a fastball.
