Dear Susan, The points in this video and in the video Acupuncture for Stroke Recovery, part 2 th-cam.com/video/bgexb3B6gAs/w-d-xo.html have been shown to help recovery. As i have not examined your mother ii can not say the degree of recovery expected. However i suggest that you follow the points in these two videos for at least 90 days. Best Dr. B

@@sarooth05 So far I have given mum acupuncture 7 times on the 3 points in your first video. The reason for this is because she is mainly cared for my my two sisters and I don't often get the opportunity. However, she did come to stay with me for 3 days and I did notice a change. She walked up the stairs in my flat alone without telling me. On the way back to my sister's house, we were in a taxi. Mum asked me to tip the driver. These were two small things but a glimmer of her old personality prior to the stroke. Mum will be staying with me for a week from the 21st so I intend to do acupuncture on her each day. I haven't checked the second video yet but at present it is as much as I can do to persuade mum to allow me to do acupuncture on the three points in the first video. The main problem is mum's right arm and hand which she can no longer use. It would be great if she experienced some improvement on that. Incidentally I did pass my online acupuncture course with distinction and I am confident in my ability to perform it. Thanks for enquiring about my mother.
