Oftentimes this type of thinking leads people with high empathy to overrate their goodness, while people with low empathy are demonized for something beyond their control even if they are exceptionally kind and good people. Empathy *can* somewhat be trained but it's complicated, it's sort of like saying "depression can somewhat be cured" ... yeah but it's not going to happen in a flash and usually requires extended professional interference.
Empathy is often genetic and is just a function of the brain, being a kind and compassionate person is possible for everyone regardless of empathy.
Nurses are one of the weirdest things to sexualise, i swear like hospitals are so eerie and stressful and dangerous to work in, id rather keep that out of the bedroom thank you
