Note about the caged birds: I’ve rescued lots of exotic animals and have socialized over 20+ birds! Just a quick comment about bird care: birds should NEVER be in a cage outside unless in their natural habitat (ex. Pigeons being kept in aviaries outside) the fluctuating temperatures, winds and predatory birds can be extremely dangerous for the bird’s mental and physical wellbeing. All birds should have at least 4 hours of out of cage or flying time, otherwise they won’t get enough daily stimulation, I’ve had to help birds who have gone years staying and living in a cage, they become depressed, they can self harm, birds are like toddlers, they NEED a lot.

Also, as much as I despise the industries which exploit and violently kill animals, nothing is going to change until capitalism is abolished. Ignoring the money that is constantly funneled into keeping the industries alive and making boycotts mostly meaningless, theres economic restraints, time restraints, food deserts, etc etc. Until we defeat capitalism there will always be exploitation and horrific cruelty of both people and animals

Even down to the way she tries to tell you how great, wonderful and *freeing* being vegan is, and how horrid, cruel and *unloving* eating animal product is. Genuinely her takes are too similar.
