    Good tip. Putting a heavy spring over the kinked ares will also help.

    I have a single-arm 360 rotating hose reel #5116652 model #712-L. Can you please demonstrate the part I need for the reel to work without the kink I am having. 🤔Thxs God Bless!!

    What's the purpose of the 1inch manifold you mentioned? Is that for running high gpm pumps?

    • @Hosebro

      No it's for water flow the larger the pipe the more water flow you get to fill your tank

      @@Hosebro Gotcha so it's only used to run garden hose to buffer tank. So not really worth the extra money for me. Thanks man!

      @@brandon6451 correct the 1/2 is fine for soft wash but the larger ones are great for water

    Good tip but also drill 2 small holes thru your hose reel on the side and use a wide zip tie at like 2-3" of your screw in to zip it in place this way if you unwind it to fast and rip on it it rips the zip tie first before you do damage to the reel itself and it's connectors. We do this because it really happens to easy when you just drag your hose of the reel you don't see when it's all off the reel especially when you work around houses you don't pay attention to it but the Zip tie snapping is something you feel on the hose and it reduces the pull force you would normally hit your reel/connector.

    I did this and it's a great idea - however I have the smallest leak coming from the swivel connection...any hints? It's hard getting it torqued down further as I have no way to stop the reel from spinning other than using my hand. Much appreciated!

      Here is a pro tip lol. 1. Go to lowes or home depot and get Teflon tape however get the Grey color tape it works much better than than the cheap white stuff. 2. I think there is a link below on the video that takes you to my kit website and under accessories (I think) I have blue liquid ptf paste. Put the Teflon on 1st then the blue goop and you will never have a leak. It's like franks red hot sauce 'I put that shit on everything' please let me know if you have questions or can't find the link and I'll send it to you.

      Hosebro got it, thanks bro! Im looking at the same hose reels right now. I’m not sure what it’s called but, do you need a 90 degree adapter or do you plug the hose directly into the swivel? Could you run a 3/4 garden hose in it as it has a 1/2” manifold & swivel? Lastly can I run pressure line through it once I buy 1/2” x 3/8” bushing? Sorry for all the questions just want to be informed!

    • @Hosebro
      @Hosebro  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@jon2786 so its hard to explain via this but shoot me an email.. quick answer outside of the real is 1/2 for the swivel and the pressure wash hose is 3/8 so you will want an adapter and then just out quick connects on it for the high pressure line. For the inside you want a 90 or a street 45 so the hose does not kink. Look below and i have a link to my kit site and it has everything you need. I hope that answers your questions if not let me know and make sure to subscribe:)

    Not a bad idea. I have the same issue. It makes too tight of a bend. I was th8nking using a nipple and just extending it out. Won't be noticeable once you get the hose rolled on.

      i just got a hose reel. but i'm a little confused with this swivel the reel came with. when i spin my swivel it seems like the pipe inside is closed and water won't be able to flow through. like for example if I have the hose connected to the swivel and i'm spinning the reel, it close and then open as i continue reeling. i don't understand how is this beneficial when i'm using my reel. what happens if I need to pull the hose and the reel turns and then it closes and open the pipe over and over agian? the hose reel i got is from Powerfist, i think Princess Auto owns the brand. Not sure if it exist in USA since I live in Canada. Also don't have titan reel in Canada i think.
