He’s terribly underrated as a guitarist.
It's almost like he is the embodiment of American music in one man. Blues, rock, country, punk, folk. He loves it all so he can play it all. And not for a second does any of it not sound authentic.

Just come across Jack White. Great singing and playing. Nice to see that this style of music is still being played by such young musicians.
Jack White is a living legend. Have you ever heard of the White Stripes? Seven Nation Army is a good one. Jack White is the singer. He also started another mainstream alternative band called the Raconteurs. He is a legitimate Guitar God and an amazing songwriter. Most people probably don't know that he wrote/produced Loretta Lynns most recent album that i think she won a grammy for.

You can tell the artists that really know the history of their musical styles whether it’s Jack White or Eminem, or Bruno Mars, etc.

Several years back I was in line at a Starbucks in Brentwood TN and the guy in front of me had a pork pie hat on. I was thinking that had to be Jack White. Finally saw his face and sure enough. It was during the time he was helping Loretta Lynn cut a new album.
She is wonderful and since I discovered Jack White and he was singing with Loretta Lynn I fell in love with his awesome talent.

I can't help but think that when he says "And I love my sister, Lord knows how I've missed her. She loves me and she knows I won't forget." it's about Meg. (I know it was long time ago, but you know. A little bit of sentiment never hurt anyone) Because they said for a very long time, that they're siblings, when, in fact, they were married couple. Maybe this is exactly what it means and I just couldn't find it or it's just my imagination, but for me it makes those lyrics even deeper and I love it.
