It's funny how Saajid Lipham recommended us to read the gospels because they "show us that Jesus was a muslim" and after 2 minutes he said that the gospels are anonymous and for that and other reasons they aren't trustworthy... I'm like, okay?

    • @dersonmutemba7919

@Can Kaya but when we compare the reliable translations of the gospels that we have today with the early manuscripts we see many similarities

@Fawaz Shaikh that verse is directed to Jews and it speaks about the Torah, not about the Gospels. And also, from the hadiths it seems clear to me that Muhammad didn’t believe that even the Torah was corrupted:
      Narrated Abdullah Ibn Umar:
A group of Jews came and invited the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) to Quff. So he visited them in their school.
They said: AbulQasim, one of our men has committed fornication with a woman; so pronounce judgment upon them. They placed a cushion for the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) who sat on it and said: Bring the Torah. It was then brought. He then withdrew the cushion from beneath him and placed the Torah on it saying: I believed in thee and in Him Who revealed thee.
He then said: Bring me one who is learned among you...... Then a young man was brought. The transmitter then mentioned the rest of the tradition of stoning similar to the one transmitted by Malik from Nafi'(No. 4431).

@Fawaz Shaikh we are always learning. Can u please send the reference of that Hadith in which it’s said that the Torah has both truth and falsehood?

    • @dersonmutemba7919
      @dersonmutemba7919 3 ปีที่แล้ว

@Fawaz Shaikh but, so, u mean in that moment Muhammad was acting like a judge and not like a prophet? But somehow he led, by that view, the Jews to a book which has been corrupted.
I think that approach, that Muhammad had to pass a judgement according to the law of the Jews is somehow problematic, because in the Hadith it says that Muhammad claimed to believe in the Torah and in the One Who revealed it. How could he say that believing that the Torah has been corrupted and that it could only serve for judging the Jews?

    • @dersonmutemba7919
      @dersonmutemba7919 3 ปีที่แล้ว

@Fawaz Shaikh no problem. In case u find it please share it. Thanks
And I was just reading the mishkat 194 and it seems to say that if Moses appeared and Umar followed Moses leaving Muhammad Umar would be in an error. And that if Moses appeared he would have followed Muhammad.
I don’t think it mentions something related to corruption of the Torah

At the 5:00 minute mark he says Jesus will clarify things. Jesus taught that He would die and rise again. He called God His Father and and taught people to pray the the Father. These are very unislamic. You really can't use the Bible to say Jesus was a Muslim.

    • @FinesseTheBest
      @FinesseTheBest 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      John 20:17
Jesus sayeth unto her, "Do not cling to me, for I have not yet ascended to my Father; but go to my brethren and say to them, 'I am ascending to my Father and your father. My God and your God."
Jesus clearly equated that his God was also Mary Magdalene's and his disciples' God. Also the word "Father" for God was used as a term of endearment. Jews even today use it when referring to the Creator of all that exists. And lastly, Jesus, son of Mary, peace be upon him, was a Muslim because he submitted his life and his will to that creator whom he worshipped. That is literally what Islam is; submitting to God Almighty, obeying His commands, and finding peace in this life and in the next as a result.
I suggest you read the Red Letter Edition of the Bible, and then the Qur'an to see for yourself how parallel Islam is to that which Jesus Christ, peace be upon him, taught. I also have a playlist in my channel "Islam is for the Christian". View that if you wish, however, I put more weight onto the former, as the Qur'an IS the Word of God, and there is no better guidance to the Truth than that itself.
May the Creator guide you and I upon the straight path. Amen

    • @Soup19922
      @Soup19922 3 ปีที่แล้ว +9

@@FinesseTheBest If he was a prophet of Allah he could not call God 'Father'. I don't care if it's a term of endearment. That is not what an Islamic prophet would say. He taught his disciples to pray to God as their Heavenly Father. Not what an Islamic prophet would say. He said he would give his life as a ransom (Matthew 20:28). That is in line with what Christians believe. He said he would be killed and rise again (Mark 9:31). This is not what an Islamic prophet would say. These quotes I've given you are red letters.
Surah 5:68 tells me I have no ground to stand on unless I stand on the gospel. Well, the gospel says Jesus died and rose again so I guess the Koran must affirm that. In 10:94 Mohammad is told to confirm his message with what came before. When you judge the Bible by the Koran (which is what Muslims do) you get that backwards. The Koran confirms the bible, says the bible was sent from Allah, says no one can change God's words, says the bible (according Muslim interpretations) was corrupted, contradicts the Bible, and makes wrong claims about the Bible (eg. Mohammad is in it). Why would I trust that book?

      Read Matthew 26:39
Jesus Christ, peace be upon him, is desperately praying to his Creator in this verse, "Father, if it be, let this cup pass from me" when he knows that they are going to crucify him. Why? Because he knows if they crucify him, they will never believe in him being their messiah. This goes back to a verse in the Old Testament when the Jews had a law that whatever is hung on a tree is accursed of God in Deuteronomy 21:23.
You can't have a crucified Messiah. It's an oxymoron. The Jews know this, and that is the reason they wanted to discredit Jesus Christ.
Now circling back to what the Qur'an says about this supposed crucifixion:
'And they [the disbelievers] planned, but Allah planned. And Allah is the best of planners.' Surah al-Imran 3:54
"[Mention] When Allah said, "O Jesus, indeed I will take you and raise you to Myself and purify you [i.e. free] you from those who disbelieve and make those who follow you [in submission to Allah alone] superior to those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me is your return, and I will judge between you concerning that in which you used to differ.' Surah al-Imran
So your own research. Make your own judgment. But be honest and true to yourself. May God Almighty, the Creator of all that exists, guide us both upon the straight path. Amen

We do find Jesus as divine in the early writing. For example Paul. Look at Philippians or look at the author of the Hebrews. Q, l, m, mark, Matthew, Luke, John the epistles and I think pliny the younger. He said Christians took Christ “as to a god”. So he made a rule of Christians don’t worship pagans, they will be killed. But if you say that Jesus is a Muslim what about the 12 disciples? There’s not enough evidence that Jesus had an injeel. You might say “he prayed like a Muslim”. Good I pray like that too look at the other Christians in the world doing the same thing. Christians do all what Jesus commanded them to do. Like preach the gospel to all the world. The gospel ain’t “there’s no god but Allah” at all. Christians do what Jesus does. So I guess we are Muslims🤷🏻‍♂️. And Mohammed is no where found in the gospels. Mark was written by himslef he got his resource from Peter(look at papias) and luke from mark and Q. And other early sources(look at Luke1). In all four gospels Jesus is the son of man from Daniel 7 and the son of God. If Jesus wasn’t crucified but taken immediately to heaven, don’t you think that Allah is responsible for the billions of Christians comiting shirk? Jesus could have spoken in Greek. For example in Matthew 4 or 5 “blessed are the…”. The first beatitudes begin with alliteration of “pi”(Greek letter p) while the famous expressions “poor in spirit” “pure in heart” all involve alliteration and assonance, which seems to suggest that Matthew portrays Jesus as teaching(on this occasion) in Greek. The idea that spoke in Greek for sermons on the mount would, of course, be suitable if the event really took place as recorded, since according to Matthew the crowds that heard him came not only from Galilee, Jerusalem and judea but also from beyond the Jordan and from the decapolis- a collection of ten or more cities marked by Greek culture. I don’t think Jesus would speak Aramaic in this case. I’m not saying that he did teach mostly in Greek. Andrew and Phillip are Greek names. And finally he would have spoken Greek with the Greeks in John 12:23, with the centurion in Matthew 8:5-13, with the Greek woman in mark 7:26 and possibly with the herodians in mark 12:13

      Ok from the bible
      John 5:30
By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me.
God is not a man’ (Numbers 23:19)
a man who has told you the truth’ (John 8:40)
Jesus the Nazarene, a man attested to you by God with miracles and wonders and signs which God performed through Him in your midst, just as you yourselves know.’ (Acts 2:22)
Jesus spoke to a man who had called him ‘good,’ asking him, ‘Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone.’ (Luke 18:19)
And he said to him, ‘Why are you asking me about what is good? There is only One who is good; but if you wish to enter into life, keep the commandments.’ (Matthew 19:17)
Jesus did not teach people that he was God
If Jesus had been telling people that he was God, he would have complimented the man. Instead, Jesus rebuked him, denying he was good, that is, Jesus denied he was God.
The Bible says that God is greater than Jesus
‘My Father is greater than I’ (John 14:28)
‘My father is greater than all.’ (John 10:29)
Jesus can not be God if God is greater than him. The Christian belief that the Father and son are equal is in direct contrast to the clear words from Jesus.
Jesus never instructed his disciples to worship him
‘When you pray, say Our Father which art in heaven.’ (Luke 11:2)
‘In that day, you shall ask me nothing. Whatsoever you ask of the Father in my name.’ (John 16:23)
‘The hour cometh and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth; for the Father seeketh such to worship him.’ (John 4:23)
If Jesus was God, he would have sought worship for himself
Since he didn’t, instead he sought worship for God in the heavens, therefore, he was not God.
Jesus worshipped the only true God
‘that they might know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.’ (John 17:3)
‘he continued all night in prayer to God.’ (Luke 6:12)
‘Just as the son of man did not come to be served, but to serve’ (Matthew 20:28)
How did Jesus pray to God?
‘he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, ‘My Father’ (Matthew 26:39)
‘During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission.’ (Hebrews 5:7)
Who was Jesus praying to when he fell on his face?
Was Jesus crying in tears to himself pleading to be saved from death? No man, sane or insane, prays to himself! Surely the answer must be a resounding ‘No.’ Jesus was praying to ‘the only true God.’ Jesus was the servant of the One Who sent him. Can there be a clearer proof that Jesus was not God?

At 7:57 he says the gospels are in line with Jesus being a Muslim. Does he only mean the red letters? Many Muslims only accept the words of Jesus and consider everything else to be commentary, but if you says 'the gospels' that would include everything. Jesus is called 'the Son of God' (Mark 1:1). That is not the description of a Muslim. Verse 3, talking of John the baptizer, says he will prepare the way of the LORD (God). That's talking about Jesus. This is the very beginning of the earliest gospel. In vs. 11 the voice of God was heard saying "You are my beloved Son..." This is not Islam.
His evidence for what he believes is the Quran. As we all know if we look at it objectively, that narrative has holes in it. He then talks about how the Bible is corrupted. The Koran teaches that the gospel was the word of God. If Allah could not protect the gospel then why should I believe He could protect the Koran? They are both supposed to be the word of Allah.
The only evidence for an injeel of Jesus is the Koran. There is no evidence that people who followed Jesus ever preached anything but what's in the gospels that we have. Also, Muslims believe that the Apostle Paul corrupted the message a short time later. According to Muslims Jesus was pretty useless. He came, gathered a few followers, preached Islam, brought a book, and went to heaven. Then his book was then lost and his message was corrupted by Paul shortly after that.
Was Jesus a Muslim the way Moses was? Moses started the sacrificial system of atonement. The Christian Jesus fulfilled that. The Muslim Jesus allowed someone else to die in his place and thus Allah started Christianity by deceiving people.
Ultimately, if you stay with Islam you believe that if you work hard enough you can be good enough for Allah. Christians believe Christ took our sin upon Himself and the only way we can stand before God is by faith in Christ. We can't be good enough for God. If we see ourselves as others see us we think we're great. If we were honest about it, we'd admit God sees us as we really are, in desperate need of Him regardless of how hard we try to be good enough. " For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them." Ephesians 2:8-10.

      1. Worshipped Eli/Allah? does this mean Allah is Father?

if your answer is no, then Jesus did not worship Allah.
      2. Jesus prayed standing, lifting his face to the heavens - how did you miss this parts as well?
do you muslims pray lifting your face to the heavens?
if your answer is no, then why make this point?
      3. Jesus didn't eat pork? where was this written? because Jesus did say that 'what enters a man (e. g pork) doesn't defile him but what comes out of a man (words and actions) can make a man unclean'
So why make this point cos Jesus would suggest eating pork isn't a sin, neither do I see a sin in this.
      4. Fasted. Yes He fasted.
are you aware that even pagans fast? so what is the point here?

I'm a Christian. I don't "deny" any part of evolutionary biology. If I have to deny established science to make my views work, that's a problem. And yes, I've watched everything Hijab has written about evolutionary biology, and it's all amazingly wrong. The latter has its god endorsing Sabiens worshippers into heaven while former does not.
The latter has its god endorsing people to hate the jews and christians in heart but pretend to be their friends while the former despises such hypocrites and commands to love even the enemies. The list goes on...

Further Jesus pbuh talked Aramaic. When Jesus called for God he said Ellah. Ellah is the semitic word root for Allah.

At 13:18 you ask..."Now what do Muslims believe about Jesus...?" Then proceed to say that he submitted to God alone. BUT earlier you defined a 'muslim' as a person who submitted to God.
Now...Jews fall under such a broad definition...making them muslims too. Yet they don't beleive that Jesus submitted to God. Rather, they were more convinced that he was influenced by the devil. Therefore your explanation is void of logic and is inconsistent with reality...either Jesus wasn't a Muslim or your definition of "Muslim" is incorrect. The apostate prophet makes far more sense than you do. By calling him ignorant, you have heaped a greater insult upon yourself.

@mohammad atef Some, but not all, of the Apostles were illiterate. The Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John are obviously not anonymous, although Luke never met Christ personally - he recorded the stories second hand.
I'm assuming that you've never read the Bible? Otherwise you'd know that each of the Gospels is identified by its author.
I also assume that what you're saying is what you've been taught - but it's obviously incorrect. I recommend that you check it out for yourself. There's plenty of Bible software online.
Jesus spoke Aramaic but that doesn't mean others also only spoke Aramaic. The literate Apostles may also have been bilingual. Matthew was a tax collector; Luke was a doctor; Nathaniel was an architect - all educated, literate men.
