"If two groups of the believers fight each other, seek reconciliation between them. And if one of them commits aggression against the other, fight the one that commits aggression until it comes back to Allah’s command. So if it comes back, seek reconciliation between them with fairness, and maintain justice. Surely Allah loves those who maintain justice."

I just hope before AD and MH another debate took place, they would at least ask other Brother to review whether their format is suitable or not.
Personally, i really like Shamsi way of argument. Clear and concise and simple to understand, and respectful. First impression is rough, but once 2 or 3 times watching, you know it's not because he's offensive or anything.
Yeah. Hope AD and MH able to get other brother for suggestion and help on idea for debate presentation before executing it

I asked myself "Would our Prophet behave like this if he's ever in a debate with an Islam hater ?", that question woke me up. As Egyptian myself, I assure you that Mohammad Hijab does struggle when he tries to speak Arabic, both Al-Fusha and even Egyptian accent are both broken. Anyways the language is NOT the standard to judge a Muslim or a reason to humiliate them. The Prophet Mohammad saw. used to treat people equally well even if they harmed him, that’s why his message spread fast. Saajid don’t be sad he’s such an arrogant person thinking he’s helping Islam by attacking others. May Allah swt. fix our hearts on the true iman.

The debate was done publicly in front of thousands of people, so a public reprimanding was totally CALLED for against the flaws and the faulty mannerisms displayed in the 'debate'. The greatest injustice being the fact that the 'debate' didn't really accomplish anything. I was also very disappointed with that camps response to brother Gabriel Romani. Br. Romani provided such tepid mild criticism to Br. Zeeshan from Smile to Jannah while simultaneously praising the brother, and they demanded a public apology. It was needed that someone point this out but we shouldn't get lost into this. There is a lot for us to learn than wasting time on this.

When my country was implementing the Sharia Law, every News outlet was pouring in with lies and bs, spouting incorrect occurences about how we're stoning g-y people and taking the rights of women, how they're NOT allowed to drive. There's also rumors going around about how non-Muslims weren't welcomed in the country and we were rude to them, some courtesy of Drew Binsky. None of that is true, we're a small country and news travel fast and I can assure you, nobody was stoned or got their hands cut off. Not only that but the Sharia Law wouldn't affect the non Muslims at all. Even if he doesn't have to, brother Saajid was the only one standing up for my country and for that, I will always see him as a fair and just person. Thank you brother.

Might be a personality thing but the agressive undertones (at least the way i perceived it) are not really my "flavour", and i didn't like the argumentation style when debating with other people as i was usually left feeling bad for the other person and reminded of the debates my classmates had in highschool, where facts and logic were used but still seemed to only scratch the surface of the subject at hand and where at the end the one thing that mattered was being right and trumping over the other person,
i don't really like debates with "opponent vibes" , where you're just supposed to take the other one down, a lot of the actual subject can be (imho will be) lost, ig that's why i prefere to listen to discussions over debates in general, and that's why i said might be a personality thing.
Also i'm not trying to say that this is their general behaviour or even their intention, it's just the way that the little that i did see came off to me and i wrote it off as just not my thing and went to look for someone else to listen to

Secondly, I remember how few years ago I used to really enjoy watching Mohammed Hijab's clips of debating and so on and I always felt proud having such a great knowledgeable and confident man in Islam, HOWEVER!!! Recently I started feeling weird about him. I watched some recent videos where he appeared to be.... (I really don't know which perfect term is to be used here) but let's just say those videos didn't really represent the modesty of Islam. YET, I didn't want to focus on that too much and I told myself that he's a human after all, so he can make mistakes. Then few days later, I stumbled upon a video of him commenting on an Egyptian atheist, but I reaaaaaaally did nooot like the way he talked about him, as you said in this video, it sounded like he was BULLYING him (and don't get me wrong, I'm not defending that atheist here, I also don't like him and don't like how he is illogical and always after Islam in specific even tho he doesn't believe in any religion) BUT STILL, the way he was talking about him in that video didn't align with the manners Islam taught us, I felt soooo uncomfortable watching that video, and ever since then, my opinion of Mohammed Hijab turned more neutral than positive.
As for Ali Dawah, well, what can I say!! I never felt comfortable listening to him in the first place. He makes some disastrous and illogical points of view in the name of Islam and that gets on my nerves. All I can say on the subject is that I find Saajid to come across as very genuine.
I do not always agree with everything Saajid says, but I do think that his efforts are rooted in honesty and his words are spoken with humility.
I also watch and appreciate some of the videos of people associated with Muhammed Hijab - and their quality, apparent motivation and levels of hubris are reflected to various degrees. Some speak well, but some are clearly prideful in word as in action.
We should only be talking about each other with the intention of positive correction and warning - not to inflate our pride; the discerning ear hears the difference in how the two groups address each other. As our Christian friends say -- Ye shall know them by their fruits.
    Allah knows best.

@@mohammedjafer9265 I agree with him in this instance. I simply mean that even if I have previously had a different opinion to him, I still respect the manner in which he carries himself. Whereas, there are is lot of pride and mockery in some peoples commentary.. humility is sweet to the ear.
There is a lot to learn from this situation- but I think that the main lesson is not in what caused the fray but in how the parties involved conduct themselves and nurture it.
'The servants of the Merciful are those who walk the earth in humility, and when the ignorant address them, they say, “Peace.” 25:63'

Dear sajid. Am an Arab from the peninsula and understand the aggression inflicted on you. Be patient, you are a graduate of Madina University. That’s so hard and am amazed how did you do it. Keep calm and keep going.

I absolutely agree with you my brother
Even though i am an arab Muslim
I can see that we clearly lack some good and humble Muslim intellectuals and representers unfortunately

I stopped watching Hijab a long time ago before brother Sajid or others criticize him. Please keep on saying the word of truth and don’t worry about Hijab or his fans. He became so arrogant to accept criticism and his people will say ameen whatever he says or does.

Brother Saajid, I’ve been watching your videos for months now and I feel that your videos are the only type of videos that show me how I can navigate the West as a Muslim. About the fitna that is going on and how to protect ourselves and most importantly the generations after us.
The issue that you discussed is a serious matter and I’m glad to hear that you’re showing the truth based on facts and not because of how popular someone is. Or for the fear of being bullied, keep up the good work.
May Allah preserve you and keep you steadfast and keep your intentions clean. Allahouma ameen 🤲🏽✨

Aslam o alykum Sajid, i really hope you read this comment from you brother in Islam
May Allah reward you for all your efforts, may Allah bless you and keep you sincere and may he grant you more knowledge and a life full of devotion to Allah and happines
After seeing the reactions from Hijab and Ali especially the clip you showed of Hijab, it brought tears to my eyes. YOU do not deserve soo much hate.
Is that what islam teaches to be vile to a muslim who is just trying to give naseehah and it is proven the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said
    The deen is naseehah
Do not worry about these people and remind yourself always your goal is Allah, to see his face and be with the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم in jannah
Make that your goal and always remember that regardless of the amount of followers you have
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your efforts in trying to call to Quran and sunnah. جزاك الله خيرا
    Your brother Usama from Australia
