I’ve lived in Broken Arrow the bulk of my 67 years and have driven by this Auburn-Cord-Duesenberg building thousands of times- without realizing it until about a year ago. It sits a hundred yards to the west of one of the main roads in BA but it just doesn’t catch your eye driving by. Ironically upon seeing this episode I recalled going with my father to this place when I was maybe 9-10 years old to see some beautiful restored Cord cars there, but couldn’t recall where it had been located. There’s now a stoplight on that road which gives one a good view of the back of this building when at a stop. Once I saw the large fading white letters on the back of the building AUBURN-CORD-DUESENBERG it all finally clicked, with a “How have I never noticed that” moment.
Boy, that company made some of the most beautiful cars in the world!
