IS KOH KOOD THAILAND'S BEST ISLAND? (MY FIRST EVER VLOG)

- What's up guys! This is my first VLOG! In this vlog, I take you along on my New Years Trip to Koh Kood, Thailand. This island is about a 5 hour drive from Bangkok plus a 2 hour ferry ride. The island has a very calm and relaxing feel to it, as it is not heavily touched by tourism. For me personally, I prefer these types of islands as opposed to the crazy party islands like Koh Phangnan or Koh Phi Phi. I can say this island is an absolute beauty and a must visit if you just want sunshine and relaxation.

Great vlog, many thanks, probably one of the best I’ve seen on koh kood. I’m thinking about going November 2018 for 8 nts with my girlfriend, just a little worried may be to quiet 🤫 Not sure which part. Out of koh Chang or Koh Kood. Can’t make up my mind 🤔 Koh Kood looks loads better I think 👍🏻
Craig Dobbyn can't go wrong with either island. Koh Chang is much bigger and takes longer to get around the island. Koh Kood is quiet and peaceful, not much nightlife or people.

Great video. Specially being your first one. We are also thinkibg of going to Thailand but our idea is ro stay for a month. What place would u recommend for a family of 4 with 2 children?
For island and beaches, you can't go wrong with Krabi, Koh Samui, Koh Chang, or Koh Kood. If you want mountains and nature, definitely check out Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, or Kanchanaburi.

Kok kood is a great island ..It isn't same as dirty Phuket or Samui..Best place 4 holiday.

We go there tmrw......thailand aint what it used to be though (compared to 20 years ago). Hope Koh Kood is a little less developed. But I am spoilt with tropical beaches in Indonesia (sulawesi)

How to get there.from bangkok?
You take a bus or minivan from bangkok to Laem Ngop boat pier (or you can just drive there which is what I did).
