When ever I am looking for a move or how to guide I always look for your videos There so well informed and executed. Great work man keep it up. Your awesome
Thank you so much! I couldn’t lock it in the other day in class, but this description makes it so simple to understand (and see where I was going wrong).
I can't wait until the day Reese really does get payback for all the times he's been choked and joint locked and thrown around on TH-cam for all the world to see 😀😀
Coach been trying this but feels like once I have lapel and then whip arm over and put my arm pit on his neck, and elbow to ground......I don't have the same control and i lose the technique. What am I doing wrong?
Coach Tom, quick question. Why does your non-choking arm (right) block the same side of the head as the choke (right side of neck and right side of head) as his only escape would be to turn his head to you to unravel the choke? I was taught that the non-choking arm/elbow blocks the left side of the head so he cannot unravel the choke by turning into you. Thanks for the video and the teachings!!
Good question. Firstly both options are good variations. I use this one as I personally find I don't get my back taken as much this way. OI use my back against the head rather than tricep/elbow but both achieve the same purpose. Try both ways (and the old school way) and see what works best for you. (-: Coach Tom Davey
Sounds good Coach Tom will do! I just now saw the part of the video where you put your back on his neck which would achieve the same goal preventing the escape. Thanks again for all of the great videos
Sorry, i respect your content, but this isn't going to work unless you can stop the person rotating into you. Your arm in front of the shoulder isn't going to achieve that.
I used the today rolling. Easy set up and easy to pull off during rolling. Thank you!
I'm a noob white belt and saw this video. I tried it the next day and was able to pull it off when rolling. Thank you for the great explanation!
Couldn’t remember how my instructor taught me a clock choke. Came here and this is exactly what he showed me. Thanks once again😁👍
