This 2 year old Friesian had been trimmed a few times before, but decided to be a teenager. She was kicking at me, so I needed to tech her a rope trick.
I was able to trim a very difficult 2 year old by what I learned from your videos. She had been drugged in the past to be trimmed before she ended up at my place. She tried to kick and bite and was very dangerous. She’s not cured yet but hopefully it will get easier. People can say anything they want but what’s cruel to horses is not training them early on to avoid this. Shoshany if I spelled this right is a beautiful horse. Thanks
Well it definitely gives you a run for your money. I've been doing it for 28 years. stretched a lot of them. I take most of the pressure with the rope across on my legs. Stay safe out there!!!
I've watched Friesian horses be shoed before and this freyer doesn't seem to be very strong. That horse will see him coming and get an additude everytime she sees him coming
This is a 2 year old that hadn't been trimmed or had her feet picked up all winter. You handle 17 in a day and deal with this on the last one, then see how you are doing.
The teenage girl is not the owner. The lady videoing is talking to my dog who is barking. Hard to know all that is going on. I didn't know she was videoing. decided to put it up after she sent it.
You have no idea what you are talking about. The owner doesn't know what to do. The horse was training them. You get under one of these!!! You'll change your oppinion. The horse was not kicking when I was done and was trimmed. RJF

I'm so glad to hear that. That makes it all worth it, even hearing the nay sayers. Thanks for your comment. RJF
Thank you for sharing, Sir...
My pleasure
If it’s a girl wouldn’t it be a filly not a colt?
Thanks for your 2 cents
@@RockinJFarrier it’s just a question, sorry your bothering by a simple question. 😜
How are your shoulders? I've only been at this 2 years, and getting yanked on like that is not fun.

I'm glad that I met you at Costco.
I'm very impressed with your skill in handling the horses.
🤠👍
Glad to have met you too. Thanks, It's sometimes a thankless job, but it's nice to be appreciated. Keep in touch.
The owner is the obvious problem. “Good girl (name).” Owner is reassuring her that her bad behavior is good. Some people should not own horses.

@@RockinJFarrier Thanks for clarification.
This is such. Bad experience for this horse. The owner should have handled it more. Bad Bad farrier.
