@@benpfeifer8192 yo love the videos who do you think are the top 5 scorers in high school currently? So in the 2025 2026 and 2027 class
HOF run fr
Great vid Ben it was interesting to hear your thoughts on this class overall.
Watch out for Ben Saraf he is a deffo lottery pick this draft. Won mvp at the u18 European championship beating Nolan traore and Hugo Gonzales.
He averaged 28 ppg!!! Second most in competition history
Man i love your videos so much. Theyre super insightful. If you see this, can you please do a breakdown on Bub Carrington and his ceiling in your opinion? Im a starved wizard fan I need somethin to watch lmao
@@yerboi9007 appreciate u
@@benpfeifer8192 i appreciate yhe gret analysis
Illinois is unbelievably stacked with underrated prospects, Kasparas, Will Riley, Carey Booth, Tomislav Ivisic (Zvonimir's twin who was way more productive in europe), Kylan Boswell, Tre White, Ben Humrichous, and Ty Rodgers.
Where’s Ben Saraf? He should be an 8th to 12th pick, he’s phenomenal
Am I crazy for seeing alot of James Harden in Dylan Harper? The way he handles the ball, gets to his spots, takes contact and finishes well, draws fouls , and the playmaking feel with similar size. Harper like Harden is built like an absolute tank. If you watched the CALI side quest video, Harper looked crazy big there. Markelle Fultz since I started watching basketball post 2009 is the best college guard prospect I have ever scouted and I still believe he would be a superstar if not for the yips. Am I crazy to think Harper can come close to that?
@@AA-xl4vk i can see the vision tbh
harden but a better prospect(not sayin he gon be better). obviously, basketball has only continued to progress and improve but motor alone, Harper is always forcing the issue down the defense's neck, never stopping on his drives, which will boad him well beyond the NBA. Every time we see him his jumpshot improves exponentially and he only gets bigger. he's a huge small guard
I hate how Dink Pate ain't getting any love. The Mexico City Capitanes should be fun to watch with both Dink and Malique Lewis being legit NBA prospects
Where did you hear that VJ is 6’2? I’ve heard from other TH-camrs that he’s 6’4-6’6 and Google has him at 193 cm. If he’s actually 6’4-6’6 does this change your opinion of him?
he measured 6'3 in shoes at hoop summit in april. i've also stood next to him and he's not that much taller than me (i'm 6'1 in socks) x.com/NBADraftMikeyV/status/1777860426241646892
@@benpfeifer8192 & when was that? U standing next to him. damn I knew some wasnt right
@@Justfranktbh earlier this yr as well
No Ben Saraf ???
5:18 how’s Rocco over some of these guys man? I understand his defensive potential but the offensive side is a big question & looks like he can’t stretch the floor, are we sure about this? I’m loving these draft videos btw, much appreciated from someone supporting a rebuilding team lol
elite defensive anchors are more valuable than anything aside from legit primary creators and rocco could be special on that end, and 7'2 guys don't need to shoot and he could be a legit driver. if he's just solid offensively he could be a top 20 player
would recommend the rocco video if u havent seen it yet
@@benpfeifer8192😂😂😂😂 what?
Rocco zikarsky #2 is crazy imo. U even kinda contradicted urself because u said that tier is for all nba/ top 20 level players then described 2 players arent close to that. I like his potential too but 2nd is insane to me.
I think this also speaks to a difference in basketball philosophy. Cuz i assume u think rocco has a high floor cuz of his potential defensive impact. Then put players like Ace and Vj outside of the top 5. I think especially with Ace ur overcorrecting on Ace because ur lower than him but he has one of the highest ceilings in this class and his shooting ability at his size nd length give him a safe floor as a decent scoring wing who can hold his own defensively (as he gets stronger)similar to a trey murphy.
Yeah his logic behind that makes zero sense. Teams don’t draft high floor guys at 2 unless it’s some historically bad class. You need to have some sort of high offensive upside to be taken at 2
2nd is ridiculous to me and I'm a big Rocco fan
@@mattblacke882 same. I’d take him in the lotto but no way you’re taking Rocco over elite shot creators and slashers that could turn into number 1 options. If Rocco goes 2nd that GM is getting fired
You appear to be one of the few people to actually watch significant Zikarsky tape, all these casuals talking him down have watched 40 seconds of clips on him. Would be a top 10 rim protector if he could begin in the NBA today as a freshly 18-year-old, will be top 5 by the time the 2025-26 season rolls around, and as soon as Gobert retires it'll be Zikarsky and Wembanyama in a league of their own.
No 7'3+ player has ever looked so comfortable defending at the perimeter, and his defensive footwork and hand-strength is the type that can't be taught, you're either born with it or you aren't. He'll get significantly more gametime at the Bullets this year, and will almost certainly average at least 3.5 blocks a game.
His floor as a defender is an all-defensive contender, and even his median potential is a perennial DPOY candidate. His ceiling as a defender would be a Kawhi-Olajuwon hybrid.
idk ace's upside is dangerous, anywhere past #4 is a steal. Ace's type of difficult shot-making has shown to be very valued in the modern NBA and I promise GMs and scouts have taken note of him long ago. His handle is definitely slightly suspect but that's not even the type of player he is and will only improve, definitely needs to improve as a rebounder and a defender no reason why he isn't one of the better defenders in the draft other than he ball watches, but it's all effort and intangibles with him, which he should easily be able to learn and apply.
Kasparas sooo nice
Agree on Hugos faults but on the contrary I think he is a very solid High Floor High ceiling guy. Even if the handle and shooting don't take a huge jump his defense and athleticism still almost guarantee he become ATLEAST a very solid starter but if the shot and playmaking come, his upside is insane.
Nolannnnnnnn bayyyyybbyyyyyyy
Amazing draft
Wait for Egor Demin to break through these tiers into the top 5
Great content bro 👍. Although is Rocco top 5? That's an interesting thought, I'm not sure but I'm going to check out his game alot closer now on.
would recommend my video on him
Great vid
Would love to see full breakdowns on vj, boogie, and Hugo
This class is okay. Doesn’t have the top end talent like a zaccharie risacher.
No class ever is going to have a talent like Risacher
@@jayjackson1449 I agree
Me when I lie
possibly the best french number one pick of all time
Risacher is a glorified role player. He definitely is not at Toni Kukoc level of talent.
I love boogie
Would Scottie Barnes be a good comp for Murray Boyles because that’s who I thought of when you were describing him
scottie prob a bit more perimeter oriented but similar vibes yeah
Would Sarr & Holland be equivalent to tier 3 or tier 2 for u?
Looking at the list I’d assume like tier 3 or 4.
@@whosewho73 trippin with tier 4
both would be somewhere in tier 3
What made you say VJ was 6’2? I’ve always seen him listed as 6’4- 6’6
Yeah he got the heights a bit wrong VJ 6ft4 6ft5 in shoes
Cooper 6ft8 bare foot rather then 6ft10
He was measured at 6'3 with shoes at the nike hoop summit. Maybe that's low but also he's probably listed as taller than he really is. A lot of guys are.
@@maconjones3581rlly ? I just checked n they had him at 6’5

ben saraf thoughts?
@@blu0201 very fun playwr
Colin Murray Boyles has a lot of draymond in him defensively. Plus Wingspan, great rotations, guards 1-5
I've heard the Draymond comp a lot, but I'm sticking with mine - he's more Anthony Mason.
Where is Ben Saraf (FIBA U-18 EuroBasket MVP)? I have him 8th overall. Would move him to top 5 if he puts up impressive numbers in Ulm the upcoming season.
@@liambrook7156 only seen one game but he seems good

Mikey Williams
Great video. I have a video idea. I would like to know why opinions on jahlil bethea are so split I see some people say top 5 while others say late first round.
How about Mikey Williams 😭 I think he is in this class
hes not a prospect but could be a solid college guard
Brother let it go😂
@@Justfranktbh 😂😂
😂😂😂 you out zikarsky at 2? The guys only strengths are rim protection and bring a roll man/lob threat. No offensive creation unless he’s right under the rim and he struggles to defend in space. You’d be fired in the spot as a GM if you took him over Bailey, edgecomeb, Harper, traore, Gonzalez. Heck I might even go further onto khaman malauach the kid from duke.
You've got absolutely no clue. This is the most 'casual fan' take on this class yet.
When does a player go number one in the NBA draft for great defense and lack of offense just a question
What do you think the shotmaking gap is between Bailey and Flagg?
@@jonaharmstrong2981 bailey is def better but not by that much
🐐
Tre johnson?
i have him 15-16 tbh hes right there
Young man, when you use your other hand, which means you’re non-shooting hand, the other hand is considered your offhand not your weekend offhand if you’re gonna talk basketball get it right
This makes no sense and Harper is a lefty making his right his off hand
who's the lowest guy on here that you would've taken #1 in 2024 / had #1 on your 2024 big board?
probably jakucionis but that 5-7 range i would say
Ace Bailey is way too low for me. I think Cooper, Harper and Ace are in the same tier
I think Ace, Maluach, and Flagg are in the same tier. Then VJ and McNeeley in tier 2. I haven't been blown away by/watched much of Harper, but will watch a lot of him this year, apparently he plays bully ball, want to see how it works vs bigger athletes.
Eyyyy I was the 250th like
R u sure decode is 6’2 he looks at least 6’4 or 6’5 watching him in fiba
he measured 6'3 in shoes at hoop summit in april. i've also stood next to him and he's not that much taller than me (i'm 6'1 in socks) x.com/NBADraftMikeyV/status/1777860426241646892
@@benpfeifer8192 there’s another measurement on the exact same twitter saying he’s 6’5 in shoes on April 10
@@benpfeifer8192 there’s a pic from the same account the next day saying he’s 6’5 in shoes
If it was a fifth, we all be drunk you wrong bro, for putting Cooper flag all by himself and tier one the man couldn’t even win MVP in the McDonald’s game the Jordan classic game who won MVP in those game not Cooper flag
The NBA scouts have been poking holes and Cooper flags basketball game. I don’t think he’s gonna be the number one draft pick when it’s all said and done. People are just listening to what they want to listen to and following soup and picking Cooper flag to be the number one draft pick, but what I love about this game is you must play the game and let the ball and the players speak for itself let’s get it
Why are you so high on jalil bethea😂
did you watch the video
@@benpfeifer8192wait till college season starts you’ll know why he’s a bust
@@benpfeifer8192you’re saying he’s a good scorer but he’s clearly not a better scorer than tre johnson🤷🤷
@@Limbaughpok i think he absolutely is
How is ace not in least tier 2?
Ace has the highest upside in this draft
No
Ace is terrible defensively. I hope he gets better but the movement on defense just isn't there
Cooper Flagg can’t shoot and his shot is broken! This is going to close up his driving lanes for himself and his teammates
cooper shot 39% from three this past season in hs lol
@@benpfeifer8192 I’m all for stats but you can look at the eye test. He’s playing on the most stacked high school roster which would definitely make it easier for him to get his shot off
Cooper flag was not even the best player on his team. He played with four other five stars and he wouldn’t even the best player on his team makes you want to say question would he have been the same player if you would’ve swap him and Ace Bailey or him and Dylan Harper swap them out and see what happens on the same exact team.
