    His defense looks exactly like a combination of Jonathan Issac and Evan Mobley. I don't think he's the perimeter defender Tatum or Bam is, but he has the crazy range just like Issac and Mobley. Very big and long at the rim, very versatile and smart defender.
    His scoring game reminds me alot of Jaylen Brown -- elite athlete, monster finisher with vertical pop, strong body and soft touch, not an elite shooter but can and will make very tough shots, and a loose handle that stops them from being a superstar scorer.
    His passing reminds me of what Wemby was the last 20 games of the season -- loose handle creates high turnovers on live-ball passing, but isn't afraid to throw it in traffic and has very good vision.
    It's almost impossible to compare a Wemby/Zion/AD tier of prospect 1:1 to anyone, but that's probably the best I could think of. Super intrigued to see how good he would be when he gets to play both the role of small-ball 5 and a weak-side helper in the league

    Great video man! Was wondering what your opinion on Hugo Gonzalez’s self creation ability. His rim pressure seems pretty incredible just from watching some film, but I’m not sure about the rest of his perimeter creation ability and his shooting in general. Honestly, Cooper Flagg is a bit overrated. That’s not to say he’s a bad player-far from it. However, he’s more likely to develop into a solid role player rather than a star. Despite the hype, he hasn’t consistently dominated against other top players at his level. For instance, he opted to play 16u instead of 17u, which raises questions about how he stacks up against tougher competition.
    Flagg’s strengths are undeniable-he’s a versatile defender with a high basketball IQ, averaging 2.3 blocks and 1.7 steals per game. Offensively, he’s shown flashes of potential, but his scoring hasn’t consistently translated against elite opponents, averaging 14.5 points per game. Additionally, his decision to join a team that masks some of his weaknesses, like his ball-handling under pressure and consistency in creating his own shot, indicates areas where he still needs to grow.
    While he has the potential to be a valuable contributor, the current hype around him might be setting expectations a bit too high.

    • @benpfeifer8192
      @benpfeifer8192  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      cooper flagg was the best player on the u17 fiba usa team as a 15 year old and the best player in the country as a 16 year old, and then he dropped 30 point near quadruple doubles against his own age group

    • @benpfeifer8192
      @benpfeifer8192  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      youll see when he gets to duke lol

    • @notqt1367
      @notqt1367 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@benpfeifer8192 While Cooper Flagg is undeniably talented, it's important to keep the discussion grounded in facts. When he was on the U17 FIBA USA team at 15, it's debatable whether he was the best player. For example, while he contributed significantly, other players like Ron Holland and Cameron Boozer had strong performances and were also key contributors. Flagg averaged 9.3 points, 10 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 2.9 blocks per game, which are solid numbers, but not necessarily the best on the team.
      Additionally, the fact that he played 16u instead of 17u raises questions about how well he stacks up against the top competition at his level. The jump to 17u would have provided a better gauge of his ability against older, more physically mature players. His choice to stay at 16u, where he could dominate his age group, might indicate that his team or he himself recognized that he wasn’t ready for the next level of competition.
      Ultimately, while Flagg’s potential is clear, the decision to avoid tougher competition at times does temper some of the hype around him.
