ROAD TO 20k SUBS!! Going Up All 2022‼️
My dad once told me something that'll stick with me forever "Son not all monsters are bad people sometimes you have to be a monster to do the right thing"
That's a wise man
Amen!!! Sounds like my grandpa and dad
Men get arrested. Dogs get put down.
Preach
Truer words were never spoken....I had to be a monster once in my life and I regret nothing about it
I loved how Momma realized that at the end it was his truck! He was an amazing man!
The judge under a seat will always be a powerful line in my opinion. Not referencing the gun being a Taurus Judge, but a gun being the “judge” in that final decision. Very powerful
I was thinking the same... I see it as a double. cuz it also looked a lot like a Taurus Judge
So Many Miss that Part
@MichaelBrown-le3ht was exactly what I thought because it looked like a judge in the video and it being a country song, almost everyone i know, knows what a Taurus Judge is so I figured it was a double meaning seeing that the judge is one of the best home defense pew pew esp with its scatter pew pew capabilities
“A man’s gotta do what a man’s gotta do.” ~ John Wayne, "The Cowboys"
great movie my dad made us watch that multiple times when I was growing up but wasn't any different from the ways I was brought up
Scared to death but saddle up anyway
@Martin.Wilson "Allright everyone saddle up we're burnin daylight, these cattle won't get there themselves"
@@Martin.Wilson actually courage is when you are scared to death but you saddle your horse up anyway.
@ True Grit....his only Oscar for best actor. He was always a role model for me. I still live by the words he said in The Shootist: " I won’t be wronged. I won’t be insulted. I won’t be laid a hand on. I don’t do these things to other people and I require the same from them."
The end when she gets in the truck, that’s his. She still waits in the truck for him. As survivor myself, I applaud HARDY for writing this song and bringing this to light. Not many women get out of this alive.
So sorry for that Joanne.
I wish my cousin had someone to tell her to wait in the truck and was a survivor. The coward waited until she had been gone from him for 6 months and shot her twice in the head shot her best friend in the back before turning the gun on himself leaving 2 beautiful girls without a mother
They say “get a restraining order “ or “a protective order “…. Nope! It’s a 24hr turnaround and the abuser is out and full of rage. He can and will get to the victim a hell of a lot quicker than law enforcement will. Don’t believe me? I urge you to go stand in the gulf near Corpus Christi and say a prayer for my friend Juanita 💔🙏🏼
@@chuckb5625 thank you hun. I’d like to think it made me stronger and wiser. I’m no longer as trusting as I used to be and I’m more cautious now.
@@SunUp-l3h I’m so sorry to hear about your friend 🫂🥺
He wasn't an angel to everyone but he was her angel. Her guardian angel. Love this song.
Or an avenging angel
Reminds me of that line from Hellraiser
“ Angel to some
Demon to others “
The greatest song ever recorded on the planet and the greatest entertainers who brought the story to our attention...he shouldn't be prosecuted jus saying
The message was that angels walk among us. Keep faith
Mom understands what happened here. Good for her. I appreciate your reaction ❤
He actually was an angel. An avenging angel.
Exactly and having grown up watching my mother fall into this pattern time and time again I often prayed for one
you cant pray all you want but it won't save you from man's justice
"Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared." ~ Exodus 23:20
"It aint paradise, that's true...but it's a whole hell of alot better than the place i sent him too."
There are some really powerful lyrics in this song. It makes me sad how many people can relate to this song. We need to do better, and treat each other better as a whole.
He went to prison and she got out of prison. In a real life story we might learn he grew up watching his mom endure this as that would explain his resolve to react. He had no angry emotions, just resolve to protect her. It did not have to be someone he knew to protect her. In a movie I would hope he would get released for good behavior and they get married and they both live their love for each other as it was meant be experienced by God on earth.
When my daughter was 16 I came home from a week long business trip. I could tell something was wrong by how everyone was acting. I asked my wife what was going on, she said nothing. My daughter wouldn't even hardly talk to me. I cornered my son and he said don't worry about it Dad, I took care of it. My kids are 40 and 42 now and still won't tell me what happened.
your son 100% killed/beat the living shit out of your daughters abuser. Thats a good thing,
Ive seen this message multiple times..
I love your Boy! Great Man raised him... one hellova Mother brought him to us!
Did ya start calling him dad after that?
@@tim6454 no but he saved Dad from prison.
Some people say he should have called the cops, but that wouldn't take care of it. Abuser would have gotten out in a short time, then he would have gone back and killed her. Happens all the time.
Idk, If anything just paralyze, but that's on her to get away, ain't like can just find her or as if he'd put in the effort....def not a need to murder....n don't even know the situation or anything. Love the song but def ain't right if make it a real situation...lol
Just like the people who recommend worthless restraining orders and the victim often ends up being murdered anyway.
@@donaldpaulson3920
Have you heard of a stalker before? Obsessed people put in that kind of effort all the time.
@@jack-of-all-trades1234 obviously have....duh. for example my mom dealt with in college, you get as far away from them....n they don't make it out as a stalker, was an abusive relationship, and the guy wasn't out chasing her down he was waiting at home for her to come back, the whole things made up anyway but like I said if anything paralyze the guy so he can't move but still doesn't call for murder especially if didn't even know the situation, it's all hypothetical anyway...
Gotta throw in here that abuse if any kind continues and sone men are very protective of any female being harmed. Was murder the answer? I can’t answer that but I do know that he wouldn’t just stop. Watch the burning bed with Farrah Fawcett
Good men fight evil everyday.
I feel your mamas reaction. Women can just feel it for any woman going through this.
Men go through it too, my saving grace was my abusers younger sister who was 20 (my abuser was a female btw) who didn't know what was going on
The “judge under a seat” line comes from the Taurus judge which is the revolver he uses in the video
Wish everyone who has been abused had an angel like Hardy
Me too.
There are still REAL men out there. Hope is not lost. Parents, raise your children well.
I see the difference between generations. Dude respect your mother and listen to what she says.
Mama has spoken!....great reaction ty...and your Mom is right, no man has a right to put hands on a woman and the legal system doesnt do a thing to help them until its to late and the woman gets killed by the abuser.
His lyrics are just absolutely incredible. This man should be on country top 5. His new album is incredible.
He may not be an angel, but definitely god sent! I waited for my saviour for 11yrs, I found me.
I love Mama's reaction she's a smart woman
Listen to your mama, she gets the whole song. The judge under the seat is the gun.
He knew what had happened to her because he could relate to her because he possibly lived it.. with his mom and dad. He was taking the steps to save her from a future of abuse and death. It satisfies him to do that because of all the years of watching his dad to it his mom until he killed her and no one did anything to protect her and he was too young to help her. He is grown and took the steps necessary to protect someone. Now he is relieved and satisfied the guilt he carried for his own mom.
You nailed it. There was someone in his past he couldn’t protect. He said “not again”
That’s what I thought when I watched this. It’s a story about a guy that knew how serious it could get because he seen it before so he ended it. Sad song but it’s a good one.
Thank you for your reaction! I'm a DV survivor and this song hits all of us survivors so hard. But grateful 🙏 to Hardy for bringing this subject up to talk about!
❤️
I agree also i remember being drug out of a pizza place by my hair when i was 17 and my boyfriend did it he took me in a alley started hitting me and a man jumped from his balcony to help me and wow my boyfriend ran then he could beat me up a 90lb female but couldnt fight a man
I'm a DV survivor as well. This song hits home. But the trash got taken out on this video .❤️
@@chrissyluna8183 LMAO 🤣! Yep! Your so right! Got taken out with his whisky bottles he beat her with and left over tuna casserole!🤣🤣
@@wendymccallister952 yeah. My ex husband raped me so badly, I bled from my butt for a week and couldn't sit but hiked up on my hip. Due to us being married, law didn't protect me. I was 103 pounds and he was 245 pounds. I couldn't fight him off.
He’s an avenging angel
Momma made an adorable boy and she is a joy to watch
ID STILL BE WAITING IN THE TRUCK WHEN HE GOT OUT!!!!😢😢😢😢😢
Yes Momma!!! There are still real men out here who will kill, suffer, and die for the right thing. Especially for family, the innocent, and those unable to protect themselves.
Thank you, Mom. You are the first one who noticed that she was still waiting in the truck. I saw that at the end of the video and that was my impression, too.
A Taurus judge is a 5 shot revolver that fires shotgun shells
As a dv survivor I can feel this song. So many never get the chance to get away. I love your Mama she’s a blessing to you.
In the chorus, you hear her say “I never knew my day of justice would come from a Judge under a seat”. She’s referring to a pistol called The Judge he had under his seat
Taurus "Judge ".
The gun used in the video is a Smith and Wesson 66 not a Judge.
She's referring to the gun being used as a tool, giving out the sentence of death just as a judge would. That wasn't a Judge Taurus, as some one else said it's a S&W
Momma has the sweetest voice you can tell she’s a kind loving person
No matter how many times i hear this song, that "angels don't do what he did" line always hits me. The irony is that, if you believe in the bible, angels did just that... and worse. The angel in the Garden of Eden drove Adam and Eve out with a sword of flames. The "angel of death", that God sent to Egypt, killed the first born child of every household that didn't mark their doorways with lamb's blood. They often were deliverers of death and destruction, destroying entire cities. We like to think of angels as being fair haired, beautiful and devine beings that serve to protect us but the reality is that they are God's army, his soldiers, his warriors. Most people don't stop to think about whether or not they would actually want to meet one.
The raw emotion from Mom touches my heart ❤️
He never asked for mercy from the court, he asked for mercy from the Lord. And she's still waiting in the truck for him.
I've watched many reactions to this and momma got the best line so far..."Don't be scary now!" Exactly!
Youngster your mom got it!! Good job mom never letting him understand!!!
"I never thought my day of justice would come from a judge under a seat."
That is one of the most powerful lines I have ever heard.
No matter how many times I hear this song or watch the video or reaction video I'm brought to tears. I was in her situation I had whiskey scars and Bruises but I had to save myself. So I appreciate this song because awareness needs to happen and hardy put a spotlight on it.
Me to and I am a 57 yr old man
Songs like this help to better understand the gravity of serious situations and the consequences of our decisions.
Well said.
I hate it when women don't appreciate the price men pay for them. He's in jail possibly for life. She's free. He didn't have to do what he did; women expect these luxuries from men. Pampered.
Yes, this is Michael Hardy & he is a talented guy. He has been writing for other artists for many years & now is doing his own stuff. He has a new song out called the Mockingbird & the crow & it talks about him writing songs for others & they were the expected music 'everyone does, just being a Mockingbird. Then later in the song, he decides to change coarse & be himself & say what he thinks & feels in his songs & being himself & being a 'crow' instead. And the girl in the video did nothing wrong & had no idea of what Hardy would do. Another great song by Hardy that I love is called 'Give heaven some hell'. Also a great message.
Every southern woman KNOWS shit is fixing to happen when he says...Wait In The Truck!!
Never thought my day justice would come from under his seat
Good job explaining right there in front of your boy how a man should treat a woman. All sons should be this fortunate. 👍
I am so glad your mom is raising a son. She is obviously going to have a young man who respects women and will treat women right. Beautiful!
My mom used to tell me "Music is good for the soul" and I think this is an amazing reason why
I was abused in a relationship everyday till I could set a time and date to leave and when I left I didn't look back but it took me a long time to get to that point !!! This song is a great song !!!! Thank you hardy and lanie
Your mum is awesome, this song had me crying too. It is so true this is a world wide problem and this song really highlights the realities of DV. Also, thank you for bringing Hardy into my world! Much love from the UK 🥰
Reactors miss the line “the 12 (gauge) he was reaching for”…but, self-defense didn’t get him off.
Hardy is the best. you should check out more of his music. every song he does is fantastic.
I have never seen this channel but I clicked on it because I was looking for reaction to this song and before I watch the reaction I want to say you get a new sub for having your mom on here! I have 2 sons so this automatically made me smile... I hope you both like the song. Country music is beautiful :)
No the song is dope and by far my favorite for sure
Momma is a beautiful person! Lovely, inside and out. Thank you for your response! And I hope your son understands this character 'traded' his freedom for hers. I could hear my dad's voice every time they start the statement "just wait in the truck" ...when he said that, you didn't question it. You just waited in the truck while he took care of business. And while some of that has been lost nowadays, it is still inherent in a man's nature to protect a woman. Great reaction! Great song
So impressed that they went out of their comfort zone to give an opinion. God bless you. And what a great song
Very interesting seeing two generations react to this video. It's so important to talk about these topics with your kids.
This was an excellent reaction and interpretation. Thank you so much! And yes, too many women are hurt at the hands of their “protecter”. ❤️🙏😇
This SWEET Momma knows what's up!
❤🕊❤
As a survivor of DV & I also lost a friend due to DV...the man in the video who killed the abuser was most def an angel. This video gets me in my feels every single time. As a society we need to do better bringing awareness & I think we should teach classes in HS on how to recognize the red flags & the different types of abuse. Also bring awareness to the fact men also go through abuse but never say anything because people either joke about it or the men don't get believed.
I wish they would have taught it in my high school. I had a great aunt in an abusive relationship she could not escape from. One of her sons I was close to killed himself to get away from his dad’s abuse. Another got bad into drugs and ended up killing someone else olee knew and was barely 20 years old spending the rest of his life in prison. My cousin was in an abusive relationship and was able to get away from him thankfully. I had no idea until after their divorce about it.
I was in a meant, verbal, emotional, and financial abusive relationship and didn’t know for years. I see the signs now that I am way from it and in the best relationship I have ever been in.
@PirateLotusBoutique I am sorry to hear about everything you and your family have been through because of abuse. I am happy to know that you got out of your situation. Despite people thinking it is easy to just leave, it isn't at all, so I truly am happy you were able to leave. Have a Blessed day 🙏🏼😊
@@thatgirlfromktown it took me years but I finally did and in such a better place mentally. Last night I was preparing for dinner and my bf helped clean dishes I needed, helped me flip the biscuits over when they were done, and helped turn sausage over at one point while I was busy with the gravy. When dinner was done I thanked him for helping and he said “That’s what team work is, babe.” ❤️
This is an amazing thought provoking song and creates the conversation.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one that cries when hearing this song its so relatable and heart grabbing
This song makes Women cry and Men smile. That's just nature.
Great reaction you two! No disrespect, but your Mom is so beautiful!!! I am so glad that you are a great son who protects your Mom. My Mom is still alive by the grace of God, and I would burn the world down around the animal who hurt her.
I love your mama. And you seem like a gentleman. But your mama is amazing and I love her accent
When I was 17, I was married and pregnant and my husband beat me nearly every day. I was young, and scared to leave. I thought I had no way out. He threatened that he would kill me if I left. I tried leaving and he always came after me. Finally, I stayed away long enough to meet someone new. He was bigger, stronger and after seeing my black eye, he took matters into his own hands. He didn't kill him. Just made him wish he was dead. He never touched me again.
Great mom son review!! Momma you spoke the truth. Good job Son to have your momma watch & review it. Hard truth to figure out.
Your mom is beautiful. Inside and out. A judge under the seat-damn good lyric.
You don't always have to do reactions on new videos sometimes the old school stuff is great to throw in you know keep your channel fresh
Hardy tells some really real stories.
Just found your channel. If there was ever a video four a young man to watch it would be this one. Never hit a woman, even just violence will land you in jail. Guns are powerful better know the limits of that power. Mom you are raising a respectful son. It seems you still have emotional connection with violence and your son seeing your tears will reach his heart. Bless you.
I need more of your mom. She is so beautiful
This is the kind of man I have prayed for so many times
He didn’t shoot till the drunk woman beater went for the 12 gauge, and I love your reaction ❤🙏
Momma, you hit the nail on the head, God gave us women to love and protect!!!
I Love Hardy's song and I am American Black. Go Hardy. This song hits a lot of women.
The gun he pulled out from under the seat is a TAURUS "JUDGE" PISTOL...hence the line "I never thought my day of justice would come from a judge under a seat" this song is personal to me cause when I was leaving my ex my tough south Texas dad simply said "a bullet don't cost that much" ... I let the courts handle it.. I didn't need him going back for shooting another person ...
Mama is beautiful and smart! 🤟
Sane and logical control. That's what's needed.
Your mom touched my heart with this reaction.
"Take a Drunk Girl Home" is another good song to listen to.
Life is not a game. He's a protector. Ole boy trying to run.. but that man didn't show up for cookies. He already knew what he was gonna do
You go hardy!!
He's an angel that got his hands dirty did what he got to do
Just scrolling through and this showed up. Been a Hardy fan for awhile! You preach it Sister! Nobody wants to stand up for a woman. Kudos to you for teaching this young man to respect women!!
Super cute mom and son couple. Love when people go outside the box and accept ALL things and appreciate ALL things. Good for u guys!
React to HARDY - SOLD OUT 🤘🏼🔥
I dont know how much yall know about guns, but Judge is a type of pistol. So "I never thought my day of justice would come from a Judge under a seat" is a really creative play on words.
Hardy's the angel she talks about.
Love your momma! Listen to her and love her right forever❤
I love that wall paneling! Such a great warm feel! I love the lady's accent. Very great reaction video :)
Mama's always right you teach that boy of life is
Beautiful mom, inside & out! 🙏❤
Mom is beautiful! ❤️
She's driving .. taking care of his truck because she's waiting for him to get out.
A man will stand for anyone even a complete stranger
I love that song. I listen to country because it tells store. This song won a award. Best song. Such strong meaning.❤
your mama is sweet, thanks to you both for this reaction!
HE GAVE UP HIS FREEDOM FOR HER LIFE
