  • Priority 600 Gates Belt drive system! On Pinion Gearbox Need to know! When the belt slips - never pry or slip it on!
If your belt slips off while riding as mine did never pry it on!
Always remove the back wheel and so that you can put the belt back without any tension on the belt as it goes onto the cassettes!

Wish i had seen this before, mine came off 2-3 times last year and finally ripped thanks to a microtear from putting it back on like a bicyle chain, now it popped off again and i found your video so ill try to put it on correctly this time, tho my backwheel doesnt have a quick release, not sure if it as hasslefree as yours here, but thanks!

Same thing happened to me. Now I get to open the frame to install the replacement.

@@z.d.vision Actually, I sent a pic and explained what happened to the manufacturer (Evelo), and they shipped me a new one at their cost.

I’m debating between the 600 and 600x and am finding this series to be quite informative. One thing I noted from my research is that pinion seems to have the 5 year warranty on their higher end P1.18 gearbox and only a 2 year warranty on the C1.12. Their website says you can extend the warranty period for an additional 3 years for an 89 euro fee, and you have to register it in the first year. I’ve seen a couple people remark that warranty service might be somewhat complicated deal with for people in the U.S. though. Not surprising as there seems to be very few options for gearbox or gearhub bikes here especially in this price range.

This is a good point of consideration. Personally I think the c1.12 is enough gear range for 95% of applications.

When doing work on a bike & not sure get a bike shop to do it. As it will cost u double on repairs if u try it yourself. Especially the drive train

Trailer, did you mention installing a trailer? I am looking to maybe use my B.O.B. trailer with my new 600X (the bike is due for delivery tomorrow or the next day). What brand trailer were you working with?

Yes I pull my son in a bike trailer you can see the model in my other films within the playlist I have for this bike.

Thanks for making all these videos about your Priority 600. I'm considering purchasing one, so basically watching all the videos I can about it. I'm sure you know how that goes. I do wonder how fast or efficient the bike feels. My guess is slower than a gravel bike, but hopefully much quicker that a hard tail mountain bike. Does that sound right? I've got a 22km bike commute on rough asphalt and gravel. I'm looking to be comfortable, but not painfully slow.

This would be a good bike for that type of commute. Might want to run a bit lower tier pressure though to absorb the bumps from the road.

I am faster on my 90s era hardtail mountain bike with gravel tires than on my 600. I love the 600, but it is heavy and slow.

Have you ever changed the cogs on this bike??!
Sadly, no one with a current gearbox can not upgrade to the new MGU, you need a completely new bike frame for it👎🏽👎🏽😡

“Tank of a bicycle”….. exactly what I DON’T want to hear about a bike costing this much!

Yeah I would definitely recommend something made of carbon fiber if you're looking to go light and fast.
