Makai ain't even wrong about DragonBall either like look at every single type of attack we've ever seen, it's literally just different names for one of the following things: Characters either have a ki attack in some form, a ki attack volley/barrage, an attack that's just them going full combo that games turn into a rush bc it is one, a giant death ball (Frieza and Super Baby's ones are even called Death Ball), an explosion or barrier, or a support/illusion/whatever else type attack. And then you have on top of that characters that have literally the exact same specific one of those types as another character. Especially Kamehameha, there's like a bunch of characters that have that and most of them are Goku.
No, she can work, the Awakening part is whats the issue, it could be 2 things, she starts with the moveset of a joke character or she'll start to the time she just got her powers with little understanding and her awakening is her in full control. She's odd to fit in Tatsuki could be part of her moveset but idk

Soul society Orihime had 3 moves with her earrings,an attack,block,and space time manipulation.THATS IT. she doesn't get any stronger or learn anything new after that.she just became a damsel in distress. And don't lump Orihime in with rukia, cause she actually learned shikai in after she was a princess peach.
but even then she is playable in brave souls ( a game they continue to add game exclusive & manga & novel accurate characters to ) where they have adapted multiple versions of her to have game exclusive moves ... it wouldn't be much of a stretch to chose 1-3 different versions of her from that game and combine them to make a playable character model for this game.

She literally shows improved mastery over ability. We just haven't seen Tsubaki win her a fight but we know he can if she has the intent to harm.
