This is pretty close to what a duet would've sounded like, imo. Ronnie McDowell has always been the best and closest when doing the early Elvis movies.
I was a friend of Felton Jarvis,, A child of a friend. I have a jacket Felton had made for Elvis. My husband had to build me a new room on our house for an "Elvis" Room!
Now you have to admit that was cool and fun! I loved it. I sang that song once "I will always love you" in an Elvis style at the Karaoke bars here in Yokosuka; people love that! LOL 😁
Hi Mickster good to see you back, Iv'e been to graceland several times, the first was 1984, I think it's strange how Elvis family is there every holiday and I'm sure Elvis is there too. I'm sorry about the last comment I didn't have time to finish it I'll try to do that later thank you keepup the good work mGod bless you
The Big Man over Elvis SURE HAD HIS RULES & REGULATIONS! Elvis was never FREE when he was Free! Parker wanted every thing Elvis had & then some...which wasn't fair & NEVER FAIR! I know of some History Behind The Big Man--& it isn't good! But I won't say..............SORRY! Daisy Mae
I love you mother do as I say that you are looking for a while to get back to the point of view of my life I have 5th grade for the first time in my life I don't know how to get the latest version of the most important thing is to get back into her life
I agree Elvis2014 The Cornelle was a jerk and absolute prick as well. But on the other hand if it wasn't for him Elvis wouldn't have been well known at all. I do wish Elvis found another producer that let him be more flexible as that's how Elvis was and liked to work. Anyway I love Dolly and Ronnie if nothing else but just for being fellow Elvis fans, even though I cringed a bit when he tried to talk like Elvis, lol.
Sorry to disagree, any manager could have made Elvis ( or even without them) well known. That's because he had everything, looks, voice, charisma, magnetism, moves, stage presence, etc, a blessing from God because he was a good person. Col. Parker watched one of his performances and saw how the audience reacted to him and he knew right there and then that he's going to be a big star. And the reason Elvis was his only talent was because he knew Elvis alone will make him rich and famous too. He even turn down to manage Frank Sinatra, Beatles, and Ann Margaret even when Elvis asked him to.

th-cam.com/video/5NsymCt_F1Q/w-d-xo.html Dolly Parton and Drew Barrymore talk about this 11 years later

They Cornel ruined a great song for Elvis just like he ruined Elvis's chance to play in some great movies. That man was so low down.
Clearly piped in music, but cute.
L'imitateur chante mal avec la sosie de Dolly Parton...lamentable
Impersonator sings badly with Dolly Parton look-alike...dismal
I love this!
