I never get tired watching pma videos again and again.. It's just so inspiring and motivating.. A lot of people are against with my dream to become a cadet because I'm a woman and entering pma is only for masculine men..When everyone is against with me and seems like impossible for me to enter pma, watching pma videos is what i always do. This is my way to remove all the negativity that goes in my mind and ears..This journey wont be easy but i'll still choose this because it will be my forever regret if i wont try it once in my life..

I really wish that I can also join them someday but I'm having a hard time about the PMAEE because of this Covid pandemic. But if I can't make it I just hope that all the aspiring cadets out there could make it to the academy.

I vaguely remember this academy. My dad was part of the graduating class of 1951 and served as a colonel for the Philippine Constabulary at Camp Crame. Regrettably he passed suddenly in 1974 and we left the Philippines for California in 1975. Dad was an instructor at PMA once. He was one very proud PMA graduate along with his colleagues who were military powerhouses of the 70’s and 80’s.

Blue Marshall I asked the same thing myself. My mom always said that my dad WANTED someone to follow him. With him passing and us moving to California i guess I missed that opportunity. Proud of my dad. Proud of PMA. I sincerely hope they continue to produce professional officers with the country in mind.

He was also Deputy Chief at Camp Vincente Lim. I fondly remember those days as a young boy at Camp Crame. Martial Law was in full force but as a young boy roaming around the camp was an incredible experience. I plan on returning and visiting my dad's gravesite very soon and hopefully visit some of my childhood memories. Thank you for reaching out and I wish you the very best. Mabuhay!

Ask ko lang po Sir. After you graduated the 4-year course, are you given the free will to choose from ARMY, NAVY, & AFP? Is the chance to choose only given to those graduates that have high grades? Or is it randomized regardless (may nagsasabi kasi na bunutan daw)?

It differs kasi every year, depends on the quota set by HQ. Normal lang yung bunutan by groups. An example is the top 3 chooses first, the top cadet chooses Air Force, 2nd chooses Army, the 3rd top cadet chooses Navy. Then the rest are grouped by 5 from the class standing. The groups of 5 will choose 2 to go to Army, 2 to go to Navy then 1 goes to Air Force. Either they agree on the group assignment to fill the slots or mag bunutan sila sa group. I had just recently finished taking the PMAEE last September 16 and...huhu I think I did well naman po? But may I ask a few questions, if it's alright po ? Hehe
1.) What are the subjects normally included in the curriculum of the Academy? And which subjects did you find the most challenging and most interesting? (Hehe from UP Manila here studying BS Pharmaceutical Sciences/Engineering so studying is kind of a pleasure rather than a chore! 😅)
2.) I have really bad eyesight but I do wear contact lenses regularly. Will this affect my performance in the academy?
3.) What can I do to prepare myself before attending PMA?
4.) And the topic of hazing...is it rampant in the academy esp for women?

Thanks for the channel support and good luck on the results. Hope the OCA message you soon for the Physical exam. Yearling year (2nd year) was my most academically challenged year with Physics. Sisiw sa iyo yun since nasa Pharma Sciences ka pala. I believe you have to have 20/20 sa physical exam but once inside the academy, you can wear contacts. I remember my bunkmate on our 3rd year wore contacts. Prepare physically since there are a lot of road runs and physical exercises in plebe year. They should have eliminated hazing now. Good luck and keep in touch and let me know how you progress in your quest in entering the Academy.

Sir, request permission to ask a question. Was the duty OD a second class cadet?
OD are normally first class cadets unless the whole class are not in the Academy.

sir curious lang po, planning to take up pma for college then deretso flying school after, do we need to serve in the military after graduating college in pma or di naman?
You have to serve 8 years in the AFP since you were given full scholarship.

Inspection and parade Saturday morning, free time sa hapon. Sunday morning mass and free time sa hapon. Libre pagkain, uniporme, at tulugan.

We didn't use calculator nung 80s. Not sure kung may issue nang calculators ngayon.
