Thank you for sharing your story. So enlightening! Listening to what you shared really resonated with me. I grew up as “daddy’s little boy,” played sports, did everything on the farm with my dad while my bro’s stayed inside with mom...I’ve always related more to masculine. On top of that, my mom had no positive feminine involvement in my life growing up (except showing her jealousy for how much my dad loved me). Sadly, my aunt was the one who gave me my first bra and discussed feminine products & time of the month with me, not my mom. My dad even showed me how to shave my legs, not my mom. I’ve always referred to myself as a tomboy, but now I know why. I also understand now why I’ve always had guys as my best friends and attracted only feminine men in the dating pool. *sigh* Makes so much sense. Thank you.
