The 747 was pushed to .99 mach in it's trials without issue. It will be flying for the next 50 years while every A380 will be scrapped within the next 10 years.
The A380 is a superior plane to the Jumbo in almost every way imagineable, its work of art engineering. Only reason its being scrapped is purely for economical reasons. And do we even need to go into the utter shitstorm of problems the dreamliner has had after it went into actual service? :)
This has nothing to do with safety, every airliner in the sky is safe. A380, 747, a320, 737 they are all safe so that doesnt matter. About the 747 being hideous thats also your opinion so not a fact.@@SaptarshiPal2005
