    I'd like to know the maintenance schedule for the little pink pit bike in the background! Thanks for posting, feel confident to do it now! You rock!

      The maintenance schedule for the pink bike is once a year or every 310 miles😂
      Thanks! I'm glad you liked the video.

    Usually I cuss at least once. Is this garage located in a library?

    I just bought the same bike, how is that wheel holder attached to the bike? can you put in a link where to buy one? thanks.

      31acruz:
      I mount the wheel lifter underneath steering head.
      Just google "How to use a triple tree stand?" then you will probably find more about how this works.

    What make are your paddock stands and where did you get them please? I'm after getting a pair for my 2008 Speed but not sure what to get. Cheers

      I found mine in a store that sells accessories for motorcycle and car.
      Just Google Triple Tree Stand and your city then you will surely find something close to you.

    I'm assuming a standard front fork lift paddock stand (that I am currently using without success 2 hours later) will not work? Only a triple clamp yoke stand will?

    • @TheJocke77
      @TheJocke77  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Jason Foote:
      Okay, I have not tested a standard front fork lift paddock stand. I only use a triple tree stand to lift up my bike in the front and I'm very pleased with it.

      I just purchased a triple tree stand and it worked great. The original front fork lift stand worked on my CBR 500, but it did not have independently tuned front suspension. Thanks for the video, great job.

    Those triple tree stands looks brilliant would you recommend one? I have a triumph daytona 675 and I'm putting it into storage and I've been told this is the best stand to keep the tyre off the ground

      @TheJocke77  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      mark hill:
      I would definitely recommend getting one. I use the triple tree stand and the rear stand when I'm putting it into storage over winter to keep both tyre off the ground.

      Mr. Speed thank you for your reply i wasn't sure about them but they seem the best stand to use, thanks once again

    Can you write down the required torque for the bolts? I'm planing to do this on my Daytona 675 for the first time...

    • @TheJocke77
      @TheJocke77  6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      David Šekoranja:
      Sure, here it is:
      Them two small screws that are mounted in one fork leg 22Nm.
      Wheel axle 65Nm.
      The two screws to each brake calliper 55Nm.

    • @rookki2

      What about the 5 bolts that hold the brake disc to the rim ?how much NM ? Got my wheels re-painted. So soon will be reassembling the wheels.

      The tightening torque for the front axle is 65Nm.

      thx i was going to ask the same - btw no need to bleed the calipers ?

    • @Ndeasington
      @Ndeasington 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No. You don't need to bleed them. Just take them off the forks so you can get the wheel out. Tie them up with some string so that you don't put any undue pressure on the brake lines. Remember not to pump the brakes while the wheel is off as you won't be able to get the disks between the brake pads when it comes to putting the wheel back on.

    Bra video! Precis fått min Street triple RS och den lär behöva byta sina Pirelli Supercorsa SP ganska ofta. Så det kanske är en bra ide att lära sig...
