- The Albanese government is in a “world of pain” due to the controversial exit of Independent Senator Fatima Payman from the Labor Party, says The Herald Sun’s Senior Writer Patrick Carlyon.
His remarks come as the prime minister’s foundational faction, the NSW Young Labor Left, are set to host Senator Payman as a special guest in a forum next week to promote the cause of Palestine, according to reports from The Australian.
“This is just the start,” he told Sky News host Danica De Giorgio.

The quota system is where one quota of the gives one senator for that party two quotas gives two quotas two senators for that party and so on. This means that each party endorses candidate in the order on the ticket the higher you are on the ticket the more likely you are to become senator. It's a system that I don't like because we get idiots and people like Ebietts in Tasmanian that are not liked, but the party endorses them so they sit there forever. Electors should have right to place the people they want in order of preference, not the parties. We have computers now to assist with allowing this to happen. In the interests of love and peace and harmony, I would like to raise awareness of Hadith 6666 which says;
Abu Burda reported on the authority of his father that Allah’s Apostle (may peace be upon him) said: No Muslim would die but Allah would admit in his stead a Jew or a Christian in Hell-Fire.
As a Christian, I find Hadith 6666 as antisemetic, offensive and racist and it should be banned.
