I recently decided to find some new companions for Angus, my lonely (neutered) male guinea pig. Here I document the experience, and how everyone reacted to each other. It really is so nice to have company for him once again, and likewise, I think that these tiny sows will really benefit from having an older companion. Aren't they just adorable though! :3

So precious! We adopted a 4 week old baby girl last year for our severely depressed neutered boar. He is massive and just adores his little girl. She has him wrapped around her little toe! Sometimes when we go to pick her up and she screams (she’s a screamer) Big Daddy will come charging over like a runaway locomotive and bodyslam or bite our hands. It’s hilarious 😂

Yes! Back when I just had two girls (I now have 10), they were about 6 when I decided to get them a little friend. Not only did it bring some excitement for the girls, it really helped Bluebell (the baby) to come out of her shell and socialize. We then got her a friend and more friends from there. She is now the leader of an awesome herd. It's so heartwarming seeing older adults with youngsters as they are so gentle and sweet.

Adorable! especially when the little ones follow him around....I recently gave my 1 year old girl Kaya 3 little friends too, after she lost her friend Holly. Now i have 10 in total. I also have 6 boys who live in couples. Greetings from the Netherlands from me and my piggies Kaya, Fay, Lulu, Zoë, Sunny, Sky, Marley, Finn, King and Cody!
I also have ten! Started with two old girls who I decided to get a friend for, now those two our passed and the youngster that I had introduced to them is now the leader of her own herd. Her name is Bluebell, the others in her herd are Willow, Pumpkin and Lavender. We have Sugar and Spice, and then a herd of three: Rosé, Brie and Fudge. Then a lone boar Sage (Who I would neuter and bond with a group of girls but he's a foster so unfortunately not.)
Everyone needs a friend who love’s them👍🙏❤️

I am really sorry for what happened to your herd, I just watch all the updates, it must have been very scary not knowing what was happening and being unable to help them, you were so brave to post about it, you were the first guinea pig channel I ever watched many years ago now and here you still are and still teaching me so much. I am so grateful to you for sharing with us, I found it invaluable and I'm sure it has helped/educated a lot of people and their piggies and will go along way to saving them in the future :D

Erin, this was BEAUTIFUL!! The girls are such GORGEOUS piggies, and Angus is stunning with his coat being so fluffy and his coloring! They feel like life is SO good now, they have a Dad!! Your videos are by far so great, I can't believe I wasn't getting your uploads, but now all is well, so I'm catching up! My husband and I are thinking about getting a 4th boy 😖😅, wish us luck. We're gonna hafta baby the 4th 1 for a bit bc sometimes the boys get rowdy w/ each other. We get ours at the flea market and they're always babies. They're still the cutest. I swear they switch back to their too kool macho thing everytime he walks in the room. Bc they are lovebugs when he's not in there w/ us, lol. He prob always randomly wonders what im doing upstairs, w/ out them, so quiet, & by myself... absolutely nothing!... other than being a dork. & watching piggies on yt. Also, ur piggies r cute. But I love all piggies. 😔 he said absolutely not to skinny pigs. Poor babies. Someone's gotta get those cute alien looking non fur babies.

Hi there - the male is neutered, so no babies 😅
That's not fair. First of all you have too many pigs to keep a friendly environment let alone a constantly sanitary and well-fed one, and nuttered or not, you're messing with the male's mind by throwing a harem at him that he can't get after. Just cause the plumbing doesn't work anymore doesn't stop the hunger. Reet-rats are the cutest and funniest animals but never doubt that they are wild and savage. You are in for some drama.
