Hey Nick! You are correct, each Skill Gem can be supported by 5 Support Gems, however - you cannot use the exact same Support Skill Gem more than once.
As I am a ranfed class enjoyer, at first, I am going to go with fire+lightning sorc for clearing. After starting end game, for bossing, I might choose fire+ice or lightning+ice for easy staggering. Maybe start with easy spark and firewall combo and move on to archmage lightning ball, spark, lighting warp.
This makes no sense. On the website, it says "your skills can be SUPPORTED by up to five support gems." Where did this idea of only one support gem come from??

Added fire damage only supports attacks in POE 1, not spells. So it wont work with fireball FYI

It's got a long way to go before I use it. The lack of filtering options make it next to useless for theorycrafting potential builds.
