Thank you for the update, it really does seem like every time we go for an annual physical they find something else that needs treatment. Have a good summer.
Hi brave women! Just read that a person can get h-pylori from water that isn’t clean or foods that haven’t been washed properly. With all the camping you do I’m sure it’s not easy to find clean water. Hope you both stay well and take care of yourselves. We love your videos! ❤❤
I am sorry to hear of your health challenges, aging is not for the weak of heart, but you got this! Thank you for sharing the good times but also the challenges, keeping it real! I hope you are feeling better soon!
Always making me Colorado! Wonder if Annette has plantar fascitiicis?? I get a flare up every now and then it can be pretty painful. Great video guys 😊
Hello my outdoors Amigoettes. Greetings from Northern California. It's good to see both of you again. I know that it's a challenge to keep bodies in shape. Please take good care of yourselves. Stay safe, young and healthy everyday. 😊
Glad to see you taking some down time while your bodies heal, well, your version of downtime with a 3 hr bike ride lol. Thanks for taking us along today and sharing the bumps along the road. Have a great week and hope your stomach feels better soon :)
Dang I feel ya! 2 steps forward, 1 step back. Glad you are moving towards healing and you both are still moving! Your positivity is inspiring to me as I'm a bit of a whiner. :D
So sorry you have been suffering Kristy but proud to tell you that the man who discovered the bacteria ulcer link is from little ol Perth Western Australia. He won Nobel prize for the discovery. He infected himself to test and prove the link. It has been a big game changer for many people and only sorry you didn’t get treated earlier. He is a wonderful lovely man too. Now we need a clever podiatrist or foot doctor of some sort. Rock on girls - you can do it.
So sorry you haven’t been feeling well. You might look into keto. I switched last year and found amazing improvements in aches & pains, mental clarity, muscle gain & weight loss. I’ll be 60 this year and feel better than I have since my 30’s.
Thought it was trail magic at the gas station lol. Just so you know I was on two antibiotics twice a day and omeprazole for years. Omeprazole affects microbiome too but you should be ok. I know you eat a healthy diet. Good to hear you got a diagnosis. Enjoyed your video as always.😊❤
Thank God for antibiotics that can kill the “big H”! You ladies are super inspiring! I’m 58, now, so I know the feeling! Lol! Can’t work out as many days straight as I used to be able to do! Have y’all ever thought about training for a shorter Triathlon? It’s called “Sprint Triathlon “ which is way shorter than a “full triathlon “. Y’all are biking anyway, so thought it might fit your “fit” lifestyle! Just throw in a swim, and y’all could probably do it, tomorrow!
You two are pretty athletic. Have you tried doing a few HIIT work outs a week? It really improved my overall health even though I was already in very good shape.
I have friends who get bloods done regularly and they always find something. My husband has never had a blood test and is 6 years older than all of us and is in fantastic shape! I jokingly tell my friends to stop getting blood tests done and they will be better! 🤣
What bike shoes and pedal system/cleats are you using. I stopped riding clipless when I stopped racing and now mainly commute by bike and for fitness. However, I’m planning to do some touring, so I’m interested in going back to a clipless system. Thoughts?
Yep, you should throw away the pills, get in your truck, go to Eichen's, now it is always crowded, but they will make room for you, ordera chicken, order of fried okra, and 2 to 3 Coors, you will be cured when you go get in your truck. Best beer joint in Oklahoma.
I hope you have no lasting issues from the H-Pylori! Please do keep up with some healthy pro-biotics even afyer you've completed the rounds of antibiotics. You need to rebuild an entire colony of good bacteria! Yep, aging is definitely not for wimps! 😂
I was diagnosed with thhe same thing. Yes I have had it since last year I just havent felt good. Since April I have had incedible pain in my guts. Saw 4 drs. Nobody knows what was wrong. Doing the same now 8 pills a day. 10 days in still feel bad. Funny taste in my mouth.. What probiotics are you taking. Im old 74. Watched Doc Martin on PBS he had a patient that had same thing. Get you two are awesome
Sorry to hear of the H-pylori infection. I'm not sure what probiotics you are taking in conjunction with your antibiotic regiment. (I;m thinking your antibiotics are probably biaxin or flagyl) If you are getting a metallic type funny taste in your mouth thats likely the flagyl. Do keep in mind that the antibiotics are indiscriminate about killing bacteria in the gut...meaning they can also kill good bacteria and the probiotic bacteria you are taking as well. Hopefully you are taking saccharomyces boulardii which is a yeast based probiotic and not killed off by the antibiotics. If you aren't check with your Dr about adding it to your regiment. All the best from Ashland, Oregon.
@@teresabass5306 Actually I think its the way that medicine is practiced now. A person goes to their GP, they order tests, The test results come back and the person is referred to a specialist. That specialist treats the immediate condition....but often is out of touch with the persons general medical history and or condition. A case maybe unaware that the patient has had multiple rounds of antibiotics over the past few years and the gut may already be compromised. Gives the prescription and figures take a probiotic or eat sour kraut thinking everything is ok. Then 2 weeks after the the antibiotics the patient develops a c-diff infection. Everything is a rush and handed off from GP to lab to specialist.
Gorgeous bike ride. Kristy, hope that ulcer totally disappears and Annette, take that foot to the doctor!
You just won the lottery.
Not quite the powerball jackpot, but the random ordinary miracle jackpot!
The universe is carrying your adventures onward….
Angels work in mysterious ways. 😊
Glad you got a diagnosis. I'll be sending healing vibes your way.
What a beautiful bike trail!

So happy they found a treatment for your issue and your feeling better. Ride on ladies!
Looks like a wonderful trail to bike down there! You are both tough ladies and I know you’ll recover quickly… sending healing thoughts.❤😊
Greetings from the Olympic Peninsula in Washington state! Glad your luck turned around! Bright Peaceful Blessings! 💜🪻💜🪻💜
Love your videos
Glad you are on the mend. Curious what dietary adjustment you have made and if you follow the Whole Foods plant based way of life.
So glad you’re feeling better. I always enjoy your travels, big or small. Take care💕

Whining is kinda fun 😊

Thanks for sharing the H-pylori story. That's really cool.
I love this story. Thank you for sharing it.
Take care you two. I loved the bike ride and music.

Wow. That's great!
I’ve watched every one of your videos and you both are inspiring.
Thank you.
You both bring so much light in my day! Feel better soon! ❤

It does sound like a fun challenge.
At least H pylori is treatable! Can't keep you down!

I think the interval training is good stuff. Good to hear that it's working fir you.
Not sure if you read your comments but you should TH-cam the carnivore diet it really helps with gut issues.

I know what you mean 😅

Part 2 Remember, no speeding on the bike 🚲 trail. Enjoy !!! 😊
I like your helmet hats. May have to get me one. Feel better, ladies.

Boy…your lucky day at the gas station! Funny to think about the things that get us excited nowadays; what would your younger selves think! 😆
My younger, broker self would've loved it.

Doc Martin for the diagnosis win!
I'm taking amoxicillin and clarithromycin
Trust me…I could feel that burn in your legs above your knees! Oh the burn doing those steep hills.

It's interesting to me that Dr's really don't know much at all about probiotics. A balanced gut is so important to our health. Tx for the info!
Thank you for the info
I see a lot of yogurt in your future 😉😂
