I really just want the will power and the strength to let go of this person. I have imagined them dead, but even then I am just romanticizing a ghost. I just need the mental strength. She will always have a piece of your heart, that's something you need to understand to move on. Having morbid thoughts will only add more pain. Don't fool yourself, emotions are things you live with, it's a natural process you can't rush.

Been in no contact now for 4 months. We were together for 16 years. I wonder if she'll reach out. Sure do miss her. I've definitely learned a lot about myself, our attachment styles and our relationship. I see now what i did wrong as a man, her partner, and a leader.
Same thing for me... 27 years marriage, then she left me 1,5 years ago. First period alone we were in contact for our Kids (21 yo girl, 18 yo boy), also because for us the feeling were strong, I did a lot of mistakes (beg and plead) and this pushed her away. Now it's 1 months of complete no contact and I filed for divorce. I know she is suffering, she Is also with few money. But now I feel really well and with a message 1 week ago she texted me for tell me about a payment. I remain silent. And I feel she's bad, but I'm ok. I don't know what will happen, but I know that or we come back together or she will never see my face anymore, not a word, not a text, nothing. Till the end of my life.

If she’s reaching out during no contact, she is clearly thinking about you and wants to see you… try to make a date (make her come to you though, don’t jump through hoops for her) and if she declines, tell her it was nice talking to her but you have to go and go right back into doing your business and purpose :)

Giving someone the cold shoulder without explanation is disrespectful and anti-social behavior and she is well aware of that. What's she's looking for is if you'll notice the disrespect as well. If you're butthurt about it, you lose. If you're ignoring that she's treating you in a nasty way. You'll lose. The only way you'll win is to continue on and be just as cold (but not nasty, just formal, courteous, and distant) until she starts trying to warm you up again.

Bro, I'm having a situation where a love-of-my-life lost an interest in me after 3 months. I am doing NO CONTACT for more then 2 months now. I would randomly wake up at night and cry. It was horrible. I felt weak, I felt confused and anxious. We had very good time and s3x and she was very special to me, I loved her. But now it's getting better and I feel more at piece knowing that I'm not going to see her again. I still miss her and I do cry sometimes at night - but I'm also okay with that. Accept, don't fight the thoughts. Let them come at you with unimaginable pain. Fighting against it makes it worse and prolongs the purge
