I use blue poster putty to tighten loose figure joints. I have been doing this with all resin printed Kenner style stuff. Someone sold a 52 figure Star Wars pack. Not sure if it is you or not... but that is my now go to solution. The first figure I printed was ROTJ Luke. Parts fit snug and perfect. Then Cara Dune, then Obi Wan, then younger Luke... all loose limbs. Blue putty. Fixed it all perfectly.
Fantastic video and learnt a lot from it, love the paints and glosses. I've just started modding and have been using Polydoh and mini magnets (2x2, 3x3 mm etc) for broken figure joints and it works great, especially on droids as you can easily swap limbs. Put a magnet in one of the foot holes and use a metal base for display, it's awesome! They'd be great for adding backpacks etc to figures with a small magnet placed into the figure and accessory and painted over. Was wondering if you've ever used magnets in any builds? Love your videos!
Hi there yes a few people I know use magnets for joints, not really used them for figures as I try to persevere some kind of joint, but would be good for head and helmet swapping on figs.
Awesome vid....keep em coming.....love the green deathstar droid....thank you!!!!!
I'm not losing my mind honest!
I Love this! I've had trouble with faded 3PO's forever.
