Liam can you address one question for me please? When you build your base and then you walls, why do you not build the wall studs right on top of the base perimeter frame instead of laying the flooring at 22mm first then on top? Can you do it either way? By laying directly on top of the base timber instead of directly on top of the flooring first? Just curios if there is any reason for building the walls on the flooring? More just trying to combat the permitted development height restriction where 22mm is crucial. Thanks again, now get your next episode up please.

I now feel confident enough to have a crack at building my own garden room, with the help of my wife, should be fun, maybe a little challenging, but at least I have your videos to refer back to. @@thegardenroomguru Thank you, order placed, cant wait to get started. Just one question Liam, I have an existing paved patio which has been laid on top of a bed of mortar and 4 inches of type 1 MOT. Underneath this is clay soil. Could i drill through the slabs and fix All the rods with Cem Fix or would it be advisable to lift the slabs and concrete the rods in like you show on your videos.
Hey love ur stuff guys learnt alot thank u...so i made a boo boo...ordered 18 mill OSB for the walls....(i'm nearly 50 cut me some slack lol) already got 1 wall up but questioning wether to continue with the 18 mill or no....also @3.6 x 3.6m would 4x2 roof joists be suficient if not could i notch an inch of the joists at the back end to combat a height issue?
it was written on the level, on the stud wall near the window opening, on the post hole shovel, loads of places, coping saw, can't remember the others atm mate
