SAB Goblin Kraken 580 Build Part 3

In this video we go over the tail and boom build of the SAB Kraken 580 build. In part 4 we will get the motor,ESC and lower frames side and try and finish up this build so we can get some flights in!

Great video again! Just finished building my RAW 580. I like the look of the kraken tail boom.
But assembly and crash wise the the raw seems a lot easier.

Ruined my tail servo washers trying to drill them and still mini torq washers are still out of stock everywhere. Im building my 580 without them. If they ever come in stock I'll go back and add them.

Can this heli be flown with a Spektrum NX6? I built a concept 60 25+ years ago and haven’t flown it since. Your videos have inspired me to get back to it. SAB looks a lot easier to build than Kyosho.

Yes it can, depending on what FBL you use you would limit on features like a rescue as you need a 7th channel but all helis can be flown on 6ch radio.

My understanding is the nx6 actually has a 7th channel as long as it’s not for a servo. I’m considering the same build you did on the 580 raw.
