Yazik, you can be honest with all the reaction that you made to Siti. We as a fan really okay with that. Siti is not perfect, but she always sing from her heart. She never learn music note. You know more than her in terms of music. She just want to sing and entertain all her fan . But, she is really a pure natural talent.

This comment was neutral comment, I totally agree with u. dalam vid ni ada part tokti yang kurang smooth and time ni pronunciation tokti tak sebagus sekarang n plus mustahil yazik tak nampak minit ke 10 lbh tu sebab yazik ni normally kesalahan sikit pun dia boleh detect. yazik ni very kind person sebab nak jaga hati orang. please peminat2 tokti jangan mendesak sangat.... kami minat tokti but kita kene jujur. The ‘Aaa’ sounds its her pronunciation 😂. Even when she sings/speaks..its different than other Malaysians.. i think the first few years after debut is even more obvious.. sounds like she swallows the word

Unfortunately, she only sang this song twice which both happened in 2004.. Another 1, she sang it at her last stop or finale of her FANTASIA TOUR CONCERT in Malaysia.. Answering to your question about the 'aah' sound produces by Siti, that is her signature. In speaking/talking term, the words ending with 'aah' sound is normally changed tu 'eer' sound to give a higher degree of politeness in speaking. But in screaming/shouting, 'aah' sound will be easily articulated with the sound 'aah'. So in order to sing a word politely and gracefully, she sing the 'aah' sounds by doing in the middle and not forward of the mouth. For me, her 'aah' still sounded great because she sang straight to the hearts.
But please, Malaysians with different point of views may share your judgement here.

A sound different to siti and the other singer in Malaysia because we have a different malay accent.. east south. North and west.. my A sound same as her.. deep and volume.
The event itself was not really enjoyable for her to sing the song. It would be different if it is a consert with some musician. It just a dinner for a boss and his secretary.

Yess! 2004 is the year where siti nurhaliza's voice was at her peak. She had the most well-rounded quality of voice in that year. That was during her EMAS & Prasasti Seni album era.

siti tends to pronounce aaa like an arabic alphabet 'ain'.. she has got that slang even in her normal speaking .. when speaking malay that aaa sounds just fine.

sometimes singers get pitchy when they don’t sing in their mother tongue..
english is not siti’s 1st language. and in 2004 (still considered her early years) she wasn’t tht fluent in english.. so tht MAY be the reason she’s pitchy on words.. plus maybe lack of practice

Banyak kali gak penyanyi lain kalo suara crack ke atau minor accident dia just let go je..kalau pitchy yang sampai sebaris dua lagu mmg biasa dia akan comment utk explain kenapa kdg2 nyanyian boleh jadi pitchy samada sbb in ear tak berfungsi baik atau sbb lain, macam masa permulaan lagu ni dia ada komen pasal pitchy. Tapi bila 'accident' tu mmg selalu nampak dia let go je tanpa komen sbb dia faham kalo nyanyi live biasalah kalo ada kesilapan sket. Plus takde benda yg dia leh explain sbb benda tu semata2 'accident', dan tak sampai 1 saat pun, bukannya nyanyi sumbang sana sini.

Yup.. the 'A' sound is her thing 🤭. When u hear that, then u will know it's her.. Malaysian say 'A' as clear as vowel sound.. 🤗
when she sing this song by celine is when its obvious her singing have similiarity with whitney. coz it sound like she singing whitney's not celine. love the reaction.
about the aaarr sound i notice it seem like its siti signature. there always like some "meaty" sound when she sound it. On the other hand, it was nice to see her performing celine song since stage presence they both are very diff. they both diva but the way celine deliver her song is opposite siti. they both theatherical on stage but along with her powerful voice, celine will express it on her body movement and language "loudly" with hand gesture or face display (mouth open wider hand move more agressive and body moving here n there) delivering the power and siti tend to display simplicity and stillness in her movement while throwing a powerful sound. her movement while sing usually very minimum and carry that majestic presence without making major emotion display thru her body gesture. so seeing siti singing celine/whitney song while still carry her usual stage presence is very interesting like u said she look so relax.
