Siti Nurhaliza is a true queen. People can easily fall in love with her. She has a beautiful face, a beautiful voice, and most importantly a beautiful personality. 👏👏👏
She sang all of her top hits on that concert.. In every Siti albums.. almost all songs are hit .. we used to call her 'Puteri Bunian' or Princess from the other world coz of her hypnotised voice....
Ok since you ask what Siti sings usually, her repertoire and songs selection, this will be quite lengthy hehe. So this year is her 24th year since she debuted in 1996. She is now 41 years old. With 18 studio albums under her belt, she has HUNDREDS of songs. Her repertoire usually changes by years since she is just so in demand. I'd say at least 3 or 4 songs from each album will be popular and were made into singles. She always promotes those singles and is frequently invited to perform at many award ceremonies. Every time at her concert, Siti will usually include the famous ones from her early years but since there are just so many, the audience is accustomed to having her changing things up once in a while. She even managed to hold special themed concerts like only singing songs from her Malay traditional albums or tribute concerts for famous passed singing legends in Malaysia like P.Ramlee and Sudirman. I believe she has done more than 15 solo concerts, not counting the ones with accompanying singers. For this performance alone, it is part of her 'love medley' where she sings her popular ballads about love. At this very same concert, she holds a segment specifically singing her famous Malay traditional songs. TL;DR: Siti's repertoire is too diverse and endless as a result of her immense popularity and versatility.
Her song "Purnama Merindu" one of her song that she performed in Kazakhstan and she won the Grand Prix Champion, The Voice of Asia. This song kinda custom made for her vocal capability and tone.
Jerat percintaan was her first single, and competed in final AJL while fighting with her final exam in school at the same time, and she won! 1996 is the beginning of her career through that song
She still sing this song but she change the key and tone to match her voice.. jerat percintaan is her old song.. she sang this song when she was 16 or 17.. it when her voice still at teen range...
I think most of us have been waiting for your reaction on this performance.. simply magical. 1. Your pronunciation on the songs title are on point. 2. The way you say her name as if Malay is your native 👏👏👏 3. Her singing was magical here. But todate, she still does it. 4. She embraces and work with the natural changes in her age. She is definitely a Queen. Queen of performance. Thank you so much for your reaction. Pls react to her latest album ManifestaSiti2020. A masterpiece!
The two songs are local favourites which Siti performed often but in the show above, both were on a slower tempo. Perhaps it got to do with her being very emotional having the chance to perform at one of the most coveted venues for performing arts in the world. Siti always performed a mixture of old and new in her performances because as much as her new songs become the latest local hits, her loyal fans always longed and requested for her oldies which brought back sweet memories and Siti was never one to disappoint her fans. I was very fortunate to have met her in person together with her husband (fiance at that time) way back in 2006; same year when they got married. I was so awed with her presence. I was really controlling my posture and speech because she had that kind of effect on you - being all sweet, pretty and regal-like at the same time. So elegant. So perfect. Here in Indonesia where I currently resides, not only she has millions of fans among the locals on the street, even the local singers adores her, very much. I hope to catch her concert here one day. It would be great for me as a Malaysian to sit and watch first hand how her Indonesian fans react during her performance.
I still listens to her songs from the album that she released more than 20 years ago.. I listen to those songs since I was in my elementary school coz my mom loves her and buy her cassettes.. it surprised me too when I realized I'm listening to a 20years old songs 😅 but it still sounds so beautiful and it doesn't feel like old songs at all.. I think I love her songs from older album more than the new one.. But from the latest album that released earlier this month, there's one song that I really like, it's called 'kuasa cintamu'.. Really great song.. I love you tokti Siti Nurhaliza 💛 (tiber)
Dear Yazik take ur time n watch her whole concert n u will be amaze wth her various vocal style...part 1 n part 3 was superb too...tq n luv ur reaction as always😊
can you imagine...I am one of her biggest fan, and I missed the London concert. I was really desperate when I heard about it...anyway luckily there is the dvd and cd to comfort me....🤣❤
Yes, she still sings her popular songs from the 1990s, 2000s, 2010s and 2020s in her concerts. She did amazing concerts in her tour at Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia few years ago. And as I already mentioned in another comment, she sang Siapa Tak Mahu, which video you were entertained, at her recent concert in Singapore, personally I was expecting a little bit better performance, more of her singing rather than inviting two local artists.
a story teller. yes yazik i agree with u. her performance was captivating and mesmerizing. she succeeded at attracting people's attention even when one didn't understand the lyrics and what the song was about. your expression said it all.
She is indeed no1 singer in our country. She never failed in her notes. She never hit the notes wrong. She never sound like she is out of breath or tired to hit the continous high notes in her songs. L.O.V.E
Need to mention here..at some point in her career as a famous singer..she took quite a long shall i say 'vacations'..starting when she got married..she stopped performing on stage..her public appearance was quite rare, no album,no performance,no competition..but this recent years she starts singing back, doing concerts, on TH-cam,etc. roughly her 30s was missing from the public eyes..
❤️❤️❤️ Thank you Yazik for Siti's reaction!! I am happy when you enjoying her performances. Just like how we always feel happy watching her performances, we hope her talent could reach many people.
Hi yazik! This concert in conjunction with the 10th anniversary of Siti Nurhaliza in the music industry. For two hours entertaining the audience, Siti sang a series of 22 songs, including an English song entitled Get Here.

Hello Yazik! Answering to your question. YES. She still sing this 2 songs at her recent concert last year in Kuala Lumpur. I was in the concert at that time and listening she perform live singing Jerat Percintaan & Purnama Merindu. Seriously i got goosebumps that time. Siti's vocal still power even her tone now was not as bright as before. I do record it in my phone. Omg seriously she still number one in my heart💖💖💖💖💖

I dun even understand malay and that was one of the first things I picked up on. Even in my native Spanish we have such cultural tones due to the language.

You should review a Purnama Merindu full version. It is an anthem in Malaysia. She I think won an Asian talent contest with that song when she was really young.
