If you feel unsafe to take eagle eyes with you, a friend should go with you encase something happens. You could disappear like some of the relics you find. Be safe and continue these great adventures.
That was one deep location and I believe you are correct that anything that went off the road there is in the depths! Nice to see the machine gun belt, another nice find! Thanks for taking us along on this difficult dive! Looking forward to the next lesson! Stay well and stay safe!!
It is a great find. The depth of that lake is crazy. You would need a good dry suit and a warm pair of insulated skivvies. I happy he is going to his metal detector to find more hidden treasures from the past. 😁
The FiFish is doing a great job. The ROV needs added light modules to penetrate the depth. Zero light source tends to suck up introduced light. Or a larger ROV with larger light system. Well at least there is double conformation that the Germans were firing back as indicated by the MG drum and now the empty MG belt. Any idea how thick the ice might have been? I am betting there are spent Pak rounds down there, more than likely brass that early in the war and fresh water won't bother them as much. Glad to see the gripper didn't crush the belt. As always, my friend great job. Stay safe and well. Now hurry up with part 3.
Yes i am plundering with some new light set up through a friend of mine so will see how that works out later. Great explore and your claw works flawless William. Ice must have been around 15 cm according to sources and tests of what the ice typically is at that time. Thanks and part 3 coming up soon :)
Having just got back from being deployed, this was waiting to be watched, and boy, you did not let me down. That lake is so deep, whatever went in I fear is far to deep for your fabulous ROV. But then, the surprise, just below the surface, and what a find, after all these years. It was well worth the wait my friend, and thank you for struggling down that mountain side, just to share this unique place with us all. Looking forward to the next episode, and your metal detector, what will you find?. Thank you once again, and stay safe and well my friend
This place is totally AMAZING if you ask me. Such a brief moment in time what happened but so much history still there. Thank you my friend for your great support. Be safe and keeps smiling :)
Absolutely loving the ROV's Vision Lock feature. The way she just hangs there staring at her target. But WOW! First the MG magazine, and then, the full length expended, ammo belt, just sitting there, waiting. Just incredible finds! I wonder if, with the Pak gun firing, and the defenders blowing the ice, and the road, the hillside above your spot dropped a few surprises on the Germans? With all the noise and shouting you wouldn't hear rocks falling. Can imagine some poor machine gunner hammering away at the defenders suddenly being hammered himself with rocks from above. Would certainly explain why the MG magazine and belt were down near the water. Perhaps the MG itself is lying somewhere in the deep darkness. Just as amazing place, with amazing finds, and all from one photograph. Well Done! Awesome work! Thanks for sharing! Cheers to you all !
I am leaning more and more to the fact that it was rocks going in the lake and not gear. But time will tell i guess. Will share more and you will love part 3 :)
This FiFish is so amazing, I really think that there was something round when you stopped the second time to pull out more tether at like 7.6m. Fascinating that machine-gun belt was just below the surface, cool find. Can't wait for part 3 to see what else you find. Thanks again and stay safe my friend.
WW2 discovery is magnificent, wow, fantastic to think over 80 years ago maybe after a battle a German soldier threw his belt of spent cartridges, can part 2 get better?
Very nice find my friend. I will wait patiently for part three and look forward to seeing what you have found with the battleship. As always Good Hunting my friend.
Yes a thumbs up to you , HH. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻.Great find that belt was amazing looked in good shape ! Love the Fifish . Can’t wait to see part three ! Thanks ! Missed you EE ! Be careful! Be safe ! The folks at work enjoyed it !

I would suggest bringing a bottle see if it'll work for you on these adventures. I love the underwater views of the areas you have been to. God bless you and EE.
Hello my friends! That's quite a mission! I'm glad Eagle Eyes wasn't with you on this adventure just due to falling rocks! I'm glad you made it out of there safely! A machine gun belt, and a P120 cartridge from 1938? WOW is all I can say! I am looking forward to Part 3!
Maybe you might invest on a boat sonare set up and attach it to your fish somehow. The only problem I can think of is the length of the cable from finder and screen. Maybe you could get another lead like the one on the fish and make it work. You could just rap them together so you wouldn't have to worry about two separate leads, and depending on the size of screen you got you could attach it to the fish control. So you could watch both at the same time. Just an idea !
Well i actually think the set up works fine , just very difficult workspace this time i think. Very steep and always worrying about what could come down the mountain side :)
That machine gun belt was amazing, not too bad condition it seems. There has to be more at this location, and i bet there is something deep down in the abyss also, but we may never know..
Yes, the Fifish V6 Expert is kinda like a tag along little friend. Much involved on your little WW2 excurions for sure. How many trips did it take to bring all of your gear down to the waterside? The mosquitos sure got a tasty snack out of you HH. The German MG belt did look like it had been submerged there for quite awhile. Would be interesting knowing the story behind that. I am thinking that there is more to be discovered there and you will share with us in P3. Thank you for taking us there. Although I did miss EE, but totally get why you didn't take the little guy. Try to be stay safe HH.
yes that little machine is so cool to work with. i had to work a bit to get all the gear down there but well worth it. Will show more from there later and part 3 will be interesting metal detecting there.
All that way down and in the end you could see the best bits from the surface! Would be great if you could sort out the lighting and dive deeper, the FiFish is capable of going much deeper if you have enough tether. With those two finds it is highly likely that there are some more at the bottom.
Wonderful adventure, thanks for sharing! Question: Can you hear the sub's surroundings via the phone if you had ear phones while piloting? Like does the live control video stream include audio too?
Hi kia Ora = greetings from NZ. I was saying H H what's that up there? Go There HH! Then you saw it finally. Can't wait to see your part 3 video... Exciting.
I'd say if the Germans lost something at that location, it out of the range of your equipment, and it's not worth losing your mini sub to go to its maximum operating depth. What an amazing place to explore!!!
Absolutely staggering finds, what a brilliant piece of kit the FiFish is. You have left some tantalising clues regarding a famous Bettleship ,possbly the Tirpiz?!! I,m guessing your near the Tromso Fijord which is where she was attacked and sunk by the RAF.
Great video At 12.21 t there seems to be a long rod to the left and at 12.47 you see it again which then you can see a hole in the end , could be a barrel of gun.

Talk about deep fathoms!!! WOW, all i could think of is divers going down there;very very deep indeed. And, if they did throw that pak gun down, it is down there! Lucky finding that mg belt. AND being in pretty good condition after all these years. Waiting for the next chapter in this adventure; can't wait to see what is found. Stay safe; Hi to EE!!!! SMILE :)
The V6 Fifish is definitely 'The Bomb' and with the grabber added from William, what more do you need. That was an exciting trek HH. Just when I thought you weren't going to find anything you came upon the German MG Belt. How lucky is that. I was dizzy just watching it. Really looking forward to P3 with the metal detector. Say Hi 👋 to EE.
Here is a FREE suggestion to the Underwater Drone makers. Consider adding a depth finder. This video demonstrates the need for the ability to determine depth. Is he 5m from the bottom or 100m? A true sonar with a graph to show the bottom would be better yet, but at a minimum, add a depth finder. I'd recommend adding a recovery air bag. If power or signal is lost, deploy an air bladder to surface the drone
A small electro magnet attached to the claw would be a great accessory, for a small amount of current the holding power is very impressive, you could power it from the claw motor. It would make retrieval much easier. Just a thought.
Goodness that was deep! You weren't the only one that got dizzy. My word! It's amazing to think after all these years that spent cartridge belt was still there. Truly amazing! That is definitely a very sketchy place to be with rocks falling and steep cliffs. You're braver than I am. I can't wait to see what you find with the metal detector in part three. I know it'll be just as wonderful as everything else you've shown. Take care and stay safe my friend. 💖💯
I meant to ask in part one if you think maybe there are some buttons where you found the material you thought was a shirt? On your dive at this location between six and seven meter I thought I saw what looked like a round metal ban. I could be wrong. There is no telling what was on those ledges during the war and as time went by and rocks fell, the rocks hit the items sending them into the deep. So happy you found the cartridge belt but I also enjoyed exploring this area even though nothing was found deeper down.
Another great snippet of ww11, not much found except for the fantastic bullet belt but that is what it's about the exploring and not necessarily the find Great no2 waiting for 3
Yes another video. I was hoping there would be more. You and EE need to get mosquito nets to wear over your hats. No more pesky mosquitoes. I lost a 10 oz gold nugget there so if you find it could you mail it to me🤣. I'm looking forward to the next one. I crazy or did you make a video on that location once before? Well thank you and 8 hope to be back 9n a month and a half. I miss being part of the family. Happy History Hunting.😁

Just when I thought you weren't going to find anything you came upon the German MG Belt. How lucky is that. I was dizzy just watching it. Really looking forward to P3 with the metal detector. Say Hi 👋 to EE.
it i such a tiny location but that image and the team`s effort did pay off. Thanks for being here Laura.
Thanks for tip and for watching.
respect for what you do
Thanks for that.
is a google earth link available?
Locations are not given. Thanks for watching.
A small electro magnet attached to the claw would be a great accessory, for a small amount of current the holding power is very impressive, you could power it from the claw motor. It would make retrieval much easier. Just a thought.
Interesting and who knows , some may create that in the future. Thanks for being here.
Good work. Hope you were wearing your helmet!
Always!
Well i guess i am more curious than smart Julie for going in there :) Thanks so much for being here and greetings from us.
@@WW2HistoryHunter it was a very interesting spot for sure. I would've had to see what I could find myself.
A good video strange not hearing eagle eyes 👀 but like you said not a safe place with falling rocks nice finds 👍
Thanks 👍
I meant to ask in part one if you think maybe there are some buttons where you found the material you thought was a shirt? On your dive at this location between six and seven meter I thought I saw what looked like a round metal ban. I could be wrong. There is no telling what was on those ledges during the war and as time went by and rocks fell, the rocks hit the items sending them into the deep. So happy you found the cartridge belt but I also enjoyed exploring this area even though nothing was found deeper down.
There could be yes and sometime in the future i will return there and look a bit more around. Thanks Anthony
That's two MGs at the same location! I wonder if the soldier with the MG13 was jealous of the one with the MG34
one mag and piece of belt and more to come in part 3 :)
Another great snippet of ww11, not much found except for the fantastic bullet belt but that is what it's about the exploring and not necessarily the find
Great no2 waiting for 3
Totally agree and thanks Doug :)
I saw 1st part.... and here last part ...♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Thanks for watching.
Would like to know how deep that lake is. Great location. 👍
Indeed a exciting place and more to come Gregg :)
Well my friend , gold is of no interest but will let you know if it is there :) WE appreciate you being here my friend and be safe :)
@@WW2HistoryHunter I was joking about the gold. Your finds are worth their weight in gold. The personal stuff that you and EE find are a link to a person not a organization. Good stuff
