This video is a god send! Without it! Me and my uncle would have been so lost to what we were doing. But thanks to do this video! Installation was easy, wiring fusing was simple! So thankful you made this! And dont stop! A lot of people need these kinds of videos!!
Few pointers for anyone who scrolls down here! Took some trial and error and help from the 305 Garage as well, thanks again for the awesome video. Definitely try to get 22-18 gauge wire quick splice connectors. The easier-to-come-by 18-14 is just a tad too big to splice the wire harness that comes with the grille. Second, use the metal clips that come with your factory grille to make the sides of your grille snap in versus free float.

jj coulter I ordered the same front grille with the side LED’s. How did you wire the led to work with the fog lights? Struggling to find out where the acc wire and running light wire connects too

Hi Rob. Man it's easy to tell it's a Ford by that new grille. Lol BTW I love the name "cat's claw" for the prying tool. We use them at work all the time and nobody knows what the hell to call it. Now the name will be shared! Lol

Nice video, nice grill but imo removing that STX grill was a sacrilege..ehehe...if was the chrome one it would be a different story, hate the chrome.

Great guide! Made the install a breeze. Just an FYI if you have a Lariat with LED headlights there isn’t a separate parking light connector. You have to tap into the Blue/Grey striped wire and the Black/Yellow striped ground of the entire headlight connector
Eric I just got a 2019 King Ranch with LED and adaptive speed control. Will this work with the camera? and where did he get it on ebay, I dont see a link like he said.

HOWEVER, abusing the truck by spinning the wheels is dumb and he needs to learn to appreciate owning a new truck. Many young folks are not as fortunate.
It's nice and broken in. It's not that easy to break these trucks with minor abuse. I've got 160k miles on my 05, and it's still chugging along. He's not that young, lol. 37.

If you dont want to remove the airbox u can go in from the wheel liner and just pop it out from there.

Really great instructional video. What is the solution for the front camera? As new F-150s do not have front sensors I use front camera a lot for tight spaces and garage parking.
The link takes me to an EAG Grill on eBay that doesn't say anything about the FORD letters being included. Did you buy them seperate or does this one come with the letters? thanks

Yes, they are available. The 2015-2017 are different than the 2018 and up.

Not sure if you are still looking at these. First off hanks for the tutorial it looked complete. Second, what did you use to attach the letters. I live in Vegas, and was a little concerned if i used the wrong product with our heat. I was thinking perhaps 3M double sided automotive tape ?
I figured it out.....my grill didn't have the screws for the letters......so quick trip to home depot. done!

My 2018 have factory side flares so was a bit more trick .I was able to reuse the 4 screws from the vent also the video don't show to reuse the clips from the old one for the bottom and sides I had to figure that one out . But thanks again

when you tap into the parking lights, why not tap into the passenger side? that way you don't have to take of the air box?
You can do either way you like, it just ends up being a tad bit less wiring to deal with on the drivers side, and taking out the airbox is a 2 minute job.
The 305 Garage which connector is the parking light connector, the one with 2 wires or the one with 3?

Mine came with lights on each side of it by where the little cut outs are. I was gonna tie those into the fog lights.

Great video. Any issue running the Raptor harness to the engine compartment fuse block and connecting with a fuse piggy back/add a circuit? I hate cutting into the factory wiring.
any idea which wire is the parking light on a 2017 F150 headlight wiring harness? Only one connection.
You should stagger your splices rather than stacking them to prolong the life of your harness. even if its only 3 wires or 300. Wrap with silicon self amalgamating tape or build up tape. Spot tie or zip tie every 3-4 inches and enjoy a long lasting repair/mod that will outlast your memory of the install.
thanks for the video i had a junk of tire off the road come up and hit my grill busted it all up 3 dents on my hood and took paint off my hood scoop ruined my vacation wife said it looked like a old guys truck to much chrome bought a raptor grill painted to match left the honeycomb black going out back to install and add a air horn thanks

@@ryanstephenson3136 sorry ryan im a little slow when it comes to these computers i bought it off amazon the plain black raptor grille with the changeable ford letters also removed the small upper and lower chrome strips then lay them on the new grille about the same distance as the old grille then used small black tie wraps to secure cut excess this way your grille is totally different then i bought the brushed aluminum ford letters they were a little to big masking tape to use on the letters and a good pair of scissors to trim take your time the letters arent cheap also my new grille came with led lights in the little sqaure fake vents were everybody likes it the lord has blessed me with a knack for customizing its one of those things gotta be different swing by cols oh and ill help good luck

Followed step by step but for the life of me can’t get the lights on the grill to come on. Any suggestions?
Use a 12 volt test light, and verify power on the connection points.

So just installed my Raptor Grille on my 18 F150 Lariat 3.5 ecoboost and having trouble with the wiring due to I have the OEM LED Headlights and only see the DRL 8 wire harness and can’t locate the parking light harness to tap splice into? Any advise would be helpful 👍🏼

How much is a Genuine Ford Grille ?
I'm wondering because the aftermarket one seems quite expensive and has to be significantly cheaper than OEM I'm guessing.

What's up man? Yup, F-150's are awesome, especially with the V-8. We'll be moding this truck more in the future. Ford doesn't have a Raptor Grill for the 2018 model years and above. In 2018 Ford refreshed the front end on all F-150's except for the Raptors. 2018 Raptors still use the 2015-2017 design language. The only option for a Raptor Grill on the 2018's and above is an aftermarket unit. Thanks for watching man.

OEM stuff is always more expensive than aftermarket
I have a 2020 F150 xlt. The first small lower bumper we need to remove, only has one bolt and there’s a stock mini fender flare in the way. Has anyone else with a 2020 done this? How did you take the lower bumper part off
So all engine types use the shutter system? I will be installing same grille once my truck gets delivered and I get it. This grille looks awesome....
