In a way that's kinda telling of the stories timeline in-game seeing as how in 0 the real estate business was during the bubble era and ichiban confections business is as mentioned in-game a bit behind the times of progressive innovation during Kasuga's time. Long story short: i agree with what you are saying.
@@usermanager8942 the game’s pretty honest in telling you that you need millions to make millions. It’s all just random chance that Ichiban ran into that millionaire dude.
It really helps doing major side content before progressing further in the story. Eri being an extra party member in parts of story really helped when the level gaps are noticeable.
tbh, if you have the management mode dlc, you can literally complete the entire business for top 1, after that, you will have at least 15-20 millions in your pocket. You can then use this money to upgrade your weapons by A VAST amount. For Example, in my gameplay during chapter 5, I could already get Ichiban a Legendary Hero's bat which is the best weapon for his Hero job. The same can be done for his teammates. Then, you can literally go to any 3-star or higher regions to slaughter everyone despite the level gaps to farm exp. You can also use the money to upgrade your gear for defense to compensate for the level gaps. Around some early chapters, the level gaps literally turn into a joke when you get all the best gears and weapons, unless the enemies are like 10 levels ahead of your team.
I actually just got to rank 1 myself earlier today, so if there's any tips I can give, is that: 1. During shareholder battles, think of the colors like pokemon: red beats green, blue beats red, green beats blue, but even if say, one member is blue, they could have a green shield, so you need to use red to break their shield, then green for their hp. A bit confusing, I know, lol. Also, I generally would suggest keeping the first two, the grandma and omlette, with you in the battles, because they're the cheapest out of basically everyone. Speaking of, make sure you keep an eye on your total counter for your employees to use in the battle, so you don't run out. 2. As soon as you unlock the minigame, leaving and doing the nearby sidequest with the baseball player gets you the best guy to put first for all stats, especially since it's third, when maxed, is nearly the highest if not the highest of of all employees. 3. Regardless of stats, different properties need different stats per place. The first slot is always for all three employee stats, but the next could focus on passion, or another product, so focus on employees who excel at those. 4. As a final heads up, as you find out, you only get paid when beating the stockholders meetings. Even at #1, you only get 3 million per battle. Hope this helps along with the video, and have fun playing the game!
@@psycho_ocelot yeah that's the main thing. In the 5-7 cycles, it's the 4 business sessions and stockholder battle. Some tips. 1.) You can use Tomoko to man Ichiban conffections by levelling her to at least lvl 20. This will allow you to keep costs low as lower costs means more profit from the business. Do not be fooled into thinking higher stats in a property mean more business. if you can reach the bare minimum for a business then do so. the higher the rarity, the higher the labor costs will be for the business. 2.) I recommend the DLC for the management minigame. it's honestly really good and will help you power through the business management guide. if you don't want to do that, the best employees to have will be employees who have an average speech cost of around 5 to 8. The higher the speech cost the more you eat through your meter in shareholder meetings. Also the level of your employees matter in shareholder battles as Senior Directors give you more meter for your Speech bar than Part time workers. 3.) If you struggle with the color system, don't go looking for the color and instead focus on finding the the weak symbol. the weak symbol is much faster to find and is an obvious clue that you can take advantage off since memorizing the color that beats the other color is much harder. 4.) Your end game Shareholder battle team should be characters you can spam their abilities to. The best characters that do this are from the DLC and they are Majima, Yuki and Aoki. They cover your 3 main colors and all have costs of 4-5. They should always be in your employee lineup and will serve you very well. I just got to this point on PC today cause I like to take my time with both my RPGs and Yakuza games, so I'm gonna make good use of this. Thanks for the guide, dude.
First let me say thank you! Amazing video full of details I’ve missed. You did a great job explaining everything in detail and I really appreciate you.
Thank you so much for the video. I've managed to deduce some of the things you mention before, but there were others that basically, I kept banging my head to the wall trying to understand what am I doing wrong. Really helpfull and self-explanatory (I'm not sure about the last world, sometimes my english gets a little rusted, even if i have no issues at all)
I'm like 1m yen in debt and i have no idea what the hell i'm even doing, all my employees are tired and so am i. The video explained a ton of stuff the game *should* have done
personally i needed the loans to make the nessecary upgrades needed to boost sales in the property during the first part of it and level employees. i just made sure i used the loan to only spend enough that my profit outweight the expenditure on property upgrade and employees then pay the loan debt back asap while my overall money in the company had enough to pay it back in one transaction.
Honestly, the DLC characters make this SUPER easy. It's the only DLC that's really worth it! Go for it! completing this mini game early and having millions of yen for weapons and gear and upgrades and ressources is just phenomenal
Do you know why expected sales turn out way less than actual? It seems to happen more on the big yield yeal estate (expected should already factor in costs I think)
You're correct; what you stated in the video about not needing to take out any loans throughout the duration of the minigame is absolutely right, as it's completely uncessary. However, I unfortunately found myself in a situation where it IS necessary. See, when I first played this minigame, I wasn't exactly sure how I was supposed to manage the business properly. This was primarily due to some convoluted misunderstandings about the purchasing of property and the reselling of said property. So, if you ever happen to come across this comment and have time on your hands, please explain: If I'm below a million dollars on the second term, can I somehow come back from that? Any help would be appreciated Edit: Nevermind, got into the top 100 and got the additional investment. Thanks for the guide, helped me with quotas.
I didn't know that the Shareholders could sometimes have a Shield Speech Bubble that was different from their own element. Now I know I can reck them easier!
Thanks for the guide. What about investments? I figured commercial deals were always good to take, but you also get random investment proposals quite frequently (even Eri sometimes comments on how shady they are): do you avoid those?
I stopped playing when i came to the business side, for a month, im back now but man, it just annoys the fuck out of me .. I just wanna do Yakuza things i am bussy and can only play 2 hours a day i hate trying to learn this shit TBH when i could be making real money in real life.
I completed the whole business story the other night, and if I'm being honest, I still barely understand how shareholder battles worked by the end. I just had a bunch of Ultra Rare characters due to pre order bonuses and Yuki seemed to do a bunch of damage no matter the colour. And considering she only costs 4 per attack I just threw her at everyone and won
My tip is, have all 3 colours represented as your workers, if you select a shareholder who has a green text balloon, select your employee who has a red icon next to their name, since red beat green, it will also say "weak" under the text in the balloon Then when you have to do the timing battle, look at what colour does extra damage, and spam the employee who has that color
from what I see, just keep the rating high like 100%, as long as you get rid of the shield(the text bubble), you are fine not attacking anymore after if you are low on energy. You don't need everyone in hearts to win. Stats, Charisma is your atk and stamina is your hp. really if you always on the attack and remove the shield every time, you don't need to care for stamina at all. Energy cost is how much each attack cost. At best have the highest attack of each color and have them also have the low cost. Early on, it best to just have 3 colors with low cost and one with the highest charisma . use the color that is strong against on the shields then strongest against on the shareholder themselves to raise the multiplier, and when you felt it high enough(I just do it when it at 1.50x, so two hits) then use the heavy hitter.
I beat it. What did it cost you might ask? My sanity. The end game of this minigame is just so goddamn boring. All you do is open for the day, heal your workers, repeat until stockholder battle. Doesn't help the stockholder battles are mind numbingly easy when you have the right workers (the chicken and the grandma are the best).
A guide this game needs but no one ever makes even today... Where to get the Best NPC hirelings and what to do to get em.. Have to READ a guide for that..
If you know what you're doing, you can turn nothing into something. I nearly lost it at the 100-50 mark, but after a bank loan, good employees and high grossing businesses, I balanced it and I was able to pay back the bank in full and made more than I expected. I've finally hit Rank 1 and I am trying to attain all the highest paying businesses at one go, so I got one last small step to go haha!
does anyone know what the icon the employees have that can match the properties mean? Doesn't seem to affect expected profit. Also once you are in the blue for the property I assume raising it further is pointless?
My company ran like shit at first, getting loans and stuff. I owed to the first two and the turning point was when I paid of the one with the most intrest. Never lost money again lol
long time no see Leon i have 2 questions about the minigame 1:how you can get Ichiban's avatar driving a car while opening for bussines and 2:Shareholders meeting(colour weakkneses to be exact i mean which coulour is strong against another)
Think of the colors like pokemon. Fire (red) beats grass (green.) Water (blue) beats fire (red). Grass (Green) beats water (blue.) So whatever color they throw up in shareholders meeting, use an appropriate color to knock the shield off. You can then damage them with other colors normally. Also as far as I've seen, Ichiban is only in the car when you have a commercial active.
Like 99% of the investment opportunities I said yes to didn't pay out so I'm gonna say you can safely ignore these. I think the ones with the best success rate are the ones that Ichi says are 50/50 but my luck was awful so all except like one or two failed.
Not really, some of the characters like Ikari (The YOU'RE WELCOME guy) and the chicken are pretty strong characters to put in to your business. The SRs are still worth it if you don't buy the DLC units.
didn't realise how the shareholder meeting worked at all untill watching this, no idea how I managed to get to around rank 50 before learning that I shouldn't just rely solely on omelette to save me lol
I have so little money right now lol. I didn’t know much about this minigame so thanks so much for this! If I have so much in debt, how do I counteract this? Do I just restart the whole game from scratch or is there any way to remove debts?
First thing, make sure none of the stats for the property are in the red. If they are, they need to be filled in by someone who has the stats. Second, you can take loans, there's an option for that, two slots above the "start collection", but remember they take the payment you owe going back to them out of your profits *first* Third, and if you're desperate above that, you can sell your properties. You can buy them back at a later date, even after you've upgraded them. Just remember that you can't sell the starting shop. Hopefully these tips help you out, dude!
@@teddysaures9540 i wasn't talking about the share holders meeting. i have a chicken and a dog to handle that. but the whole deadline thing is giving me an anxiety lol
@@psycho_ocelot It still easy. Just buy one of the cheaper property, max it then sell it once able. Then repeat while upgrading your starting property and keeping employees happy which needs to be done every 2 turns. Outside of that, remember to upgrade employees, fire unnecessary ones, save some money for advertising so you can get double money.
My only doubt is which characters are the best for shareholder battles and business management in case you don't had to rely on Pre-order or DLC characters.
I hit number one using only the random employees that pop up, the grandma and omelette. Omelette is your key to success as his cheap 5 command cost can be used to spam on shareholders.

I just got to this point on PC today cause I like to take my time with both my RPGs and Yakuza games, so I'm gonna make good use of this. Thanks for the guide, dude.
You ever played chrono trigger or shinging force ?
Edit breath of fire also ?
i’m about to quit doing this last night but now after watching im excited for this management game. thanks for thorough explanations
Really helpfull and self-explanatory (I'm not sure about the last world, sometimes my english gets a little rusted, even if i have no issues at all)
imma be real this vid brought me out of barley scraping by
Thank you for the amazing content as always, been your fan since 2016.
Oh! My God!! This video make me understand that Shared Meeting is Rock Paper Scissor Game. And how to destroy shield. Thank You so much!
Finally someone who can explain this shit ass minigame for me. I've watched ten other tutorials and understood absolutely nothing
Finally a guide that I could understand! thank you
Thanks leon I really needed some help with this. Keep it up!
Thanks for the guide, I was three quarters down a bottle of rum. A lot of the initial information went in one ear and out the other. 😆
I'm like 1m yen in debt and i have no idea what the hell i'm even doing, all my employees are tired and so am i. The video explained a ton of stuff the game *should* have done
It does, but to be fair most of it is just trial an error
The first pop up doesn't explain much
personally i needed the loans to make the nessecary upgrades needed to boost sales in the property during the first part of it and level employees. i just made sure i used the loan to only spend enough that my profit outweight the expenditure on property upgrade and employees then pay the loan debt back asap while my overall money in the company had enough to pay it back in one transaction.
The best guide I’ve found!
Honestly, the DLC characters make this SUPER easy. It's the only DLC that's really worth it! Go for it! completing this mini game early and having millions of yen for weapons and gear and upgrades and ressources is just phenomenal
@Actual name The Management Mode Set!
I want to understand how this works but none of this makes sense to me and I just can’t figure it out.
Its stupidly annoying
Straight up cash flow is what usually raises your share price right? (exception being board meetings I think)
Thank You Leon, I needed this.
This is really useful, I didn't notice the "auto care" feature in the menu, thanks for the guide
One day, I'll will achieve
*GROOVY* Ichiban
Good thing I didn't waste my money taking economics or business management classes.
You are the only video that confirmed the system maxes or at 3 mil. 💙🙏
Great Guide! Bravo sir
I'm in deep shit with the mini game, I fucked up big time cause I don't know what I'm doing
same i feel like crying 😭
Nice guide thanks!
Do you know why expected sales turn out way less than actual? It seems to happen more on the big yield yeal estate (expected should already factor in costs I think)
thanks a lot, I did not know what I am doing in shareholders meeting, but I failed just once :D now it is gonna be more interesting
It took me until I was top 100 to figure out how to profit..jesus
You're correct; what you stated in the video about not needing to take out any loans throughout the duration of the minigame is absolutely right, as it's completely uncessary. However, I unfortunately found myself in a situation where it IS necessary. See, when I first played this minigame, I wasn't exactly sure how I was supposed to manage the business properly. This was primarily due to some convoluted misunderstandings about the purchasing of property and the reselling of said property. So, if you ever happen to come across this comment and have time on your hands, please explain: If I'm below a million dollars on the second term, can I somehow come back from that? Any help would be appreciated
Edit: Nevermind, got into the top 100 and got the additional investment. Thanks for the guide, helped me with quotas.
thanks, this minigame is so damn tedious
Thank you!!!
Tried everything and still stuck at the begining of this mini game. 3rd share holder meeting and still aint got jack.
According to online sources, avoid them like the plague!
Thank you! :)
My tip is, have all 3 colours represented as your workers, if you select a shareholder who has a green text balloon, select your employee who has a red icon next to their name, since red beat green, it will also say "weak" under the text in the balloon
Then when you have to do the timing battle, look at what colour does extra damage, and spam the employee who has that color
from what I see, just keep the rating high like 100%, as long as you get rid of the shield(the text bubble), you are fine not attacking anymore after if you are low on energy.
@@Gamemaster-64 I mean, I've already gotten to rank 1 and can easily stay there, so I didn't really need tips. But I'll keep it in mind
I am still confused.
But, I will put everything I got!
Thanks for the guide!
Thank you so much
great guide! i have 1 question, what can i do if the expected profit is red? ich have all my people happy, where is the problem, what can i do?
A guide this game needs but no one ever makes even today... Where to get the Best NPC hirelings and what to do to get em..
Have to READ a guide for that..
If I take a while to get good at this do I risk reaching a point of no return? Will I run out of money and fail?
If you know what you're doing, you can turn nothing into something. I nearly lost it at the 100-50 mark, but after a bank loan, good employees and high grossing businesses, I balanced it and I was able to pay back the bank in full and made more than I expected. I've finally hit Rank 1 and I am trying to attain all the highest paying businesses at one go, so I got one last small step to go haha!
No way I didn't know about 'auto recovery' 😭 I manually gave each employee a bonus... well now I'm already number #1 so it doesn't matter anymore xc
No one seems to say weather you get this automatically in the story or you got to go somewhere
The ending is just like an anime ending
Yep I've reached the point of no return. Ggs
does anyone know what the icon the employees have that can match the properties mean? Doesn't seem to affect expected profit. Also once you are in the blue for the property I assume raising it further is pointless?
to further clarify it's the icon left of their happiness icon.
My company ran like shit at first, getting loans and stuff. I owed to the first two and the turning point was when I paid of the one with the most intrest. Never lost money again lol
If you dont have the dlc bring omelet and clara for the shareholders meeting
Ok dumb noob question... Can I start over fresh with this company thing? Lol cuz I failed it miserably
long time no see Leon i have 2 questions about the minigame 1:how you can get Ichiban's avatar driving a car while opening for bussines and 2:Shareholders meeting(colour weakkneses to be exact i mean which coulour is strong against another)
Think of the colors like pokemon.
Fire (red) beats grass (green.)
Water (blue) beats fire (red).
Grass (Green) beats water (blue.)
So whatever color they throw up in shareholders meeting, use an appropriate color to knock the shield off. You can then damage them with other colors normally.
Also as far as I've seen, Ichiban is only in the car when you have a commercial active.
Any tips when you are just starting after the 1st shareholders meeting to get up to rank 100?
What about Investment offers? should they be avoided or are there any investment that should be taken according to the ROI?
Like 99% of the investment opportunities I said yes to didn't pay out so I'm gonna say you can safely ignore these. I think the ones with the best success rate are the ones that Ichi says are 50/50 but my luck was awful so all except like one or two failed.
I think I fucked up. I put myself in a huge hole I don't know if I can climb out of it.
So do you press R2 or hold it to make Ichiban move on the open for business page.
Hold it down
Hey devileon7 question I am at rank 100 can i drop below that or am i safe from going back to 101?
I've watched a million guides and none make me understand it I can make profit but it's really fuck all and I'm never making it to 100.
Do i really need to buy dlc units to play this mini game efficiently?
Great video btw.
Not really, some of the characters like Ikari (The YOU'RE WELCOME guy) and the chicken are pretty strong characters to put in to your business.
The SRs are still worth it if you don't buy the DLC units.
Do you need to do this to complete the game? Just wondering because I’m on it
Thanks this helpt me a lot
didn't realise how the shareholder meeting worked at all untill watching this, no idea how I managed to get to around rank 50 before learning that I shouldn't just rely solely on omelette to save me lol
Thanks a lot
Also, is there any secret reward for reaching Rank 1 similar to the 4th fighting styles in Yakuza 0?
Yes. You get a laser special move that attacks everyone in the field and it's very powerful.
It stupid op and stuns everyone. Costs 200mp tho
I find it good to have a set of cheap shield breakers and a striker.
The board meeting is easy. The rest of the management is what I don't understand
Second, you can take loans, there's an option for that, two slots above the "start collection", but remember they take the payment you owe going back to them out of your profits *first*
Third, and if you're desperate above that, you can sell your properties. You can buy them back at a later date, even after you've upgraded them. Just remember that you can't sell the starting shop.
Hopefully these tips help you out, dude!
Question: Are All those UR employees like Majima And Kiryu from DLC, or you can get them playing the game?
Anyone got a link to the menu music? Cant find it anywhere
bruh this game's business is so difficult, i feel that if you master it you would be able to manage a real business
Its atcually pretty easy. Its just a rock paper scissor game with the share holder. Just pick employees that have low cost and high persuasivness.
@@jprec5174 all hail the chicken!
@@Pkblazer099 Omeletto gang gang.
Hello I like your videos of this saga.
Can you do a video about how to get materials?
I have the DLC with the legacy characters as managers and I went to nearly top 10 before realising all my managers were stuck at level 10
